If someone does more than 25% of my health in their first hit I immediately decide that they are evil people IRL and that it is totally okay to run away after every hit (sort of like an uber deathknight, except they yell at you). Erm. Serpent was always an amazing gank class for me. You can pre-hypno without them seeing, and they almost certainly don't have anti-illusion and other needed anti-serpent settings on. You hypno them, lock them in two dstabs with illusions, then kill.

It's way, way, way easier to jump people as serpent than to spar/duel. You just haven't experienced the advantages of an unprepared opponent because Cyrenians don't gank!

I thought today's systems all had all classes and anti-illusion turned on by default.

But yeah, I suck at any sort of quick kill (unless fighting someone with a very offensively tuned system/fighting style). Anyone who really doesn't want to die to me (and isn't, like, inept in most skills) can do so rather easily. But yeah, I also never have unprepared opponents, because in the few situations where Iocun would initiate combat against another's will, he'll usually give ample warning first.

Eh, yeah you guys need to tune that down a bit. I've noticed shrines defiled with full vibes, rites surrounding everywhere and about 6 Shallamese (more than cwho) waiting to gank anyone that enters within 10 rooms.

Sry. We were border-raiding Hashan and that was like a "yeah lol come to me while we're raiding (because we will gank you)". I mean we were standing 1 room outside Hashan when i said "come to me". i thought you knew we were raiding cause there was big hashan group gathered. then you actually walked in and i was like lolwat. i feel bad now. and i didnt even attack first

@Vaehl I defile in groups because when I do not, someone comes, and I am happy to fight them. But then like two more people come. I stopped defiling alone when Tirac came and I was happy to fight him - then Ayoxele and Saibel started helping and, well, I brought more friends. 

He was still really mad even though I dueled him afterwards, saying I would still not be safe and that it was dishonorable, etc... he has not really hunt me down, but it made me feel like defiling alone is not worth the trouble if it goes unappreciated. I still do it sometimes, like when that group of 6 was defending a shrine and nobody else wanted to defile with me (they came once things started going well I only felt a little bad about the chain of 5 pieties <_<). 

(edited to add a note that the Tirac stuff only really bothered me because he is an experienced fighter/knight so it kind of sucked that he seemed to think of me that way even though I tried really hard to make up for it by dueling him after and offering another when he said he would hunt me - also I separate me from my character, it is just way easier to post this way )
