Barge can be risky if it fails as you'll end up in a room of hostiles. Probably better of braziering ally after burst.
Wait what I did not mean in a raid I just meant when someone was afk and I wanted them to wake up in that pretty rainbow place in Meropis. =x

Hey guise. I'm getting slightly better!
see? (Okay, so I should prep completely differently than I did, but hey. It worked, right?)

I puppet travelled to Kard. Wtf were Cooper and Tesha doing prone? I bet they Kard duanathar'd into you guys propping. This is why I don't own wings/follow groups Kard.
Yep, lol. He also got me to 1k health walking with mass. He was determined to get me killed.

  • Best walking-related deaths I've had in practical combat were firewall kills. Seen several of those!
  • There was a warp to Hriddan that required a lot of warp/enter wilderness/warp/leave wilderness. One of the warps in question led into a Hashani guard stack.

For many years, dozens of Naga perished because they were kinda tired and rereading HHELP WARPS was too much work. I can't believe I denied all those 'Can I please destroy that warp?' requests only to end up doing it anyway. D:

Idk, it was like 3 years ago.  Jarrel did. Didn't expect him to even know what vivi was because of his soulpiercers and +3 str. I think I was a Paladin at the time maybe.
Infernal vs Monk. I was actually fairly known for vivi'ing people as infernal.

  • With a heartseed illusion most commonly, if I remember my slave-years properly.

    1. Why would I waste time with a setup if someone dies to something that silly?

IDK, It has been two years, and I didn't know anything about combat the time. I just remember you used a staff of illusion for something dumb.

Lol, when people say stuff about what Jarrel used to do, it was way more than 2 years ago. Heartseed didn't even exist when Jarrel started vivisecting people(me).

Edit: Weird. Its posting Tvistor's quote outside of the quote box, but it looks right when I try to edit it. Halp.

  • I've lost track of time. Tvistor is my only character, and Jarrel was a Mhaldorian infernal at the time of joining. (heartseed did indeed exist)

Dunno how long ago that was though.

Ya, pretty sure he got me with a restoration loop illusion that I didn't notice. Not entirely sure, though. Was too long ago to remember accurately.

Jarrel was an Infernal a long time ago, then started switching classes, before he went Infernal again. I remember because I was a Paladin at the time, when Paladins were still a guild(or shortly after Houses were introduced).

@Cooper: Not really, was a straight forward vivisect, Amnesia caught your restoration apply and delayed your subsequent application, your disrupted too fast and got vivi'ed. Then you just started waiting for me to put up gravehands and tumbling out till I had gravehands from Fork in the Road to NoT.

There was also a time I 3v1'd you as a monk and 2 priests, vivi'ed both priests and you hit vitality, ran away at sub 500 hp and even posted the log on forums.

You really don't have to give a mandatory excuse when you lose, it happens to everyone, including me.

Here's what a staff can do for you:
If you're really in doubt as to whether I could vivisect people without using the staff:

  • Shit curing.
  • If only any of us could measure up to the god that is Aeolithon.

  • No, Jacen. I am also wondering when this log was from because that was bad curing.

Always wondered why the PvP section of the forums always attracts the worst combatants/noncombatants who feel obliged to pass out their opinion like Earl Grey at a British tea party and then hide behind the 'You don't know my main and you couldn't beat him but I'm not going to tell you who he is' (because in all probability such a person does not exist).

If your main's name starts with a G and ends with an O and has 3 letters in between I'm going to shit myself laughing.

What people don't realise is that when you have a staff of illusions as a class that normally cannot illusion your opponent will most likely have 2 sets of curing which both have their own disadvantages and different priorities and you can play them into choosing the one that suits whatever you want to abuse. You're opening up new avenues for offense that don't normally exist for your class.

A classic example would be fighting Agathon and when he turned anti illusion on he would no longer writhe or cure paralysis instantly without checking for it, which with raja speed you could easily dsl curare/kalmia, if he didn't shrug you could impale and dsb for an insta kill.

  • I prefer Assam to Earl Grey.

And my main could totall- wait, I'm doing this wrong.

Okay, no, seriously. Am I wrong? Have I been wrong ever when talking to you? Or is it simply that I touch a nerve so much that you feel obligated to type all that out just to go so far as to insult me unsuccessfully when I make absolutely any (correct) point at all? No, I don't play this game enough anymore to gather all of the artefacts you possess, or trans out or fight you - this does not make me wrong. K?
  • @Jarrel you don't need to prove yourself to us bby, we all know you're aight. :)

                   Party right, party hard,

                                            Sing and dance, perfect bard.

                                                                     Prefarar loop, accentato whore,

Buy a new rapier, get nerfed some more.

I'm still failing to see the part where I'm wrong. Throw your insults, big man, it doesn't make what I say any less correct :)
The entire basis of PvP is to take advantage of your opponent's curing, that's how it works little buddy.
Without that knowledge it's not a big surprise you never made it into the ACC :D.

    Jarrel-smalljpg

  • Unfortunately Vaehl and Aeo are right, that was bad curing on Tirac's part (which he has since fixed).

And thanks for clarifying. I just remember something really dumb happening when you vivi'd me, couldn't remember what it was. Amnesia pet eating my restoration application does not count as a standard vivisect :P

  • edited January 2013
I said that was shit curing against vivisect which it was. Again, tell me where I'm wrong. Also to be fair, this may be the combat logs and yes we aren't posting combat logs ... but we are discussing them. Does that count as off-topic or are you actually just derailing yourself? shhh, lest you have some input on combat.

Thanks for the alt/main outing though, that was cool. Idk if @Cooper would stick up for me (ever), but I think he knows I know about vivisect after our chat, and trust me when I say I'm right and you simply want to argue with me.

Oh, and the reason I didn't get into the ACC isn't because I don't know what I'm talking about, it's because I can't stick at a single character for more than a month. Sorry about that!
