    Haha, good times. This was shortly after the 'two shields wielded' nerf and I was just alternating between wielding SoA and a tower shield over and over and over.

    As Jhui pointed out (I completely forgot that existed), it's not a pain anymore. You can just WIELD <left hand item> <right hand item> and the game will handle everything.

    I have four or five aliases that basically do the same thing:

    SHEATHE/LASH (things and left/right)
    DRAW (weapon) x 2

    Only issue is that I can't really put the aliases in my attack aliases because it overloads the queue.

    I'm fussy about which weapon goes in which scabbard (due to the way they're customised), so I track each of my items individually, including the ID of their corresponding container, which hand they're supposed to be wielded in, whether they're currently in my inventory or in a container (for WIELD vs DRAW/UNLASH), as well as tracking the IDs of items I have wielded in each hand.

    Yep! I'm working on it, it's just not my highest priority at the moment, heh.

    Yep! I'm working on it, it's just not my highest priority at the moment, heh.
    It's one regex, should take no more than a minute to script and debug.

    svo.me.wielded exists for people that use svo, and permits you to make weaponscripts that handle sheathing flawlessly and with as little command waste as possible.


    Yeah, one of the first things I did for combat was write a wielding script that tracks states. Granted, there's a lot more effort and error checking involved in stateful scripts because things can go wrong, i.e.: dropping a weapon out of horror, being forced (if you're not a knight), etc.

    Telling you server side wielding is a hell of a lot easier. If you do WIELD SHIELD DIRK and you already have shield in left, dirk in right it won't do anything, but if you have dirk in left, shield in right it'll swap them for you. No GMCP bullshit or svo state checks needed.

    And it was more like half an hour!
    It was.. 3:30 to 5:20ish and then I spent the next 40 minutes figuring out how to edit prio's.

    Yep.  Pretty much deleted/disabled my wielding script thanks to this gem.

    Kind of a dumb question to ask in combat logs, but since your on the subject anyone know why using the ingame alias to sheathe sword, unwield left unwield right before using my blademaster attacks will sometimes cause me to just unwield my sword?

    Thought fist sigil was bugged for awhile but then realized what was actually happening. (Switched it to wield blade before everything now.)

    @Exelethril notice that he is also continuing to attack the death knights for a while and not Chiam. Pretty sure that was why he was gutting and not hitting Chiam.

    Yeah, DK was shielding when Chiam arrived, tried to kill it first, except it got a few regenerating attacks in. In my haste, didn't switch over to rending, kept on mashing my hunting attack. :( (loads of noob mistakes, will learn eventually!)
