    Meh. I went in to see what the shouting was about. Get to the Quisalis den with Ellodin/Iakimen/Anedhel and start getting doppie warped, etc. So I'm like fuck it, game on. You guys bring like 9v4, I bring more. That's how this game works, doesn't it?

    II. Am I a griefer?

    3. Failure to stop "winning": It's nice to win. Usually roleplaying a win will
    be more fun than roleplaying a loss, that's human nature. When you do win
    though, remember that it was the people who were playing the other side that
    made it possible for you to have fun in the first place. You want them to come
    back fighting next week or next month, so do your best to make it fun for them
    too. Don't grind their faces into the dust. Retreat triumphantly - have a
    victory party - toast your prowess on the battlefield.

    6. Kill squads: Team fighting is fun and an important part of Achaea but just
    as powerful players repeatedly targeting weak players is a sign of griefing, so
    is constantly taking your group of six or eight and targeting single players.
    Once might be fine if someone is truly deserving (or avoids the consequences of
    their actions by running from a single attacker), but it is griefing to
    repeatedly target single players for triggered insta-kills or other inescapable
    group slayings.

    7. Kill rooms/unavoidable deaths: Although the administration constantly tries
    to keep combat balanced, there will always be cheap and easy ways to kill.
    Long-range summons into locked houses or city guards being a good example. If
    someone did not initiate a fight - if they are not currently raiding your city
    or trying to damage your interests, then these forms of attack are generally
    discouraged, particularly the use of what are known as "kill rooms", locked
    player-owned rooms set up to be inescapable and used to summon other players.
    Regular or repeated use of these set-ups is griefing.

    A) Kaie, you were running around fashioning people while they were dueling.  Obviously you know this is equally if not more lame than anything else that happened in that FFA.  Just wanted to point that out for any potential sympathizers.  Hasar, you just got the shaft, because we knew Proficy was going to turn the FFA into a Mhaldor vs. everyone event (which Iakimen also did, with Tesha), and you were the first person silly enough to walk into a room with three Ashtani in it and start attacking us.

    B) It just turned into a contest between Iakimen and his pet priest vs. Proficy and his pet runie, to see who could break legs first and insta-win.  Unless you have 22 Strength, and AXK, you weren't coming out of that FFA as a winner.

    I wasn't aware of any 'Mhaldor v everyone' I joined a minute or so before it began.

    Additionally, if you look at the log...I get attacked first; retardation is dropped on me, I -shield- (Because hey, perhaps Jonesey is fighting one of you) as the vibes start to hit me. So I thought Jonesey wanted to fight, lol.

    This is why we can't have nice things. I guess a TF was up for grabs, or something?

    @Caladbolg Awesome log - what's the false in your prompt?  Also how did you get your stance into your prompt?  I have a trigger that saves it and then I have it loaded up in my limbcounter but I like it there.  Haven't messed with custom tags yet.

    EDIT:  Nevermind - got stance in.  Very easy and nice.

    Also, in that instance with a TF up for grabs (also being an FFA) I viewed it as anything goes. Perhaps that was wrong?

    I've always found it pretty funny when people complain about bad conduct in arena events. While teaming is annoying, sure, there's no rules in there.

    The mode is called Free-For-All, not "Series of 1v1s".

    I've been jumped on before for starting a fight in a FFA that I didn't inform the person of/ask for. So I just don't do that anymore.
