Kai-gain cut in half across the board, a rather hefty nerf to guarding as well. RHK being untargettable means that you have to deal with wwk not lining up with ucp. One thing that should have been done, was to allow Monks to jpk from water to water, or water to land, or land to water meaning that our hindering ability is still really low especially with that nerf to Kai and some tele abilities that did not before, now requiring a lock. We also had some prone offensive tele abilities taken away. Heal nerfed slightly, but people will always complain about that. No more double-Monk bbts.
Still, I think, so long as there are no more substantial nerfs to Tele or Kaido, we should be fine. Tekura needs to be fixed, the AXK buff before seemed a lot like a bandaid fix for all the issues we had and now people are upset at it. And the blunt icon is pretty substantial. It really should be though, moreso than a +str icon for Monk attacks, but perhaps a minor nerf to it would be okay.
EDIT: neat buff was the combo ability we got to group attacks, so now there's no delay for multiple commands, all batched now. Only like a .2 speed increase. I guess that's what you meant with the universally fast balance?
None of those things @Santar mentioned even correlate with the recent context of the thread, except maybe universally faster balance(lol). All the pvp Monks were Raja anyway, and I'll take that level of quickness+high INT any day over Nimble.

I'm not very experienced (disclaimer), but I feel that these issues with huge damage could be resolved if base avoidance against tekura was increased, as there is a huge disparity between no avoidance, and mounted w/ avoidance, that I never miss against the forner and hit one or two punches every 2 to 3 combos against the latter, if that. This, and/or making rhk do no/less damage considering it gives paralysis or make tekura do less damage on a paralysed person (numbed to damage)... dunno, though. It doesnt feel that difficult to balance out the huge no-prep damage
old raja was faster than current nimble though. current nimble is equal to old mhun speeds.
