Amberous motes drift across the firmament, petrifying into the form of Gaia, the Wildwood Queen.
Stirring the undergrowth, the hushed cadence of the Wildwood Queen resonates, "I am returned."
The earth rumbles ominously as the voice of Artemis, Goddess of the Cataclysm, booms across the
firmament, "At long last, the forces of Nature may be truly united! Your return shall be greatly
celebrated, My blessed Sister!"

A youthful dryad carefully rests a bowl upon the ground, the mixture within infused with a gentle glow.
Taking a deep breath, the dryad steps forward and casually tosses the mistletoe into the bowl. As the dark plant falls, faint motes of emerald light trail in its wake, lingering on as the jagged leaves sink beneath the gleaming mixture.
A youthful dryad ponders for a brief moment, before taking a step forward.
A youthful dryad says, "Now, as you were when we first met..."
A youthful dryad says, "Form a circle around me, if you would?"
[About 30 people forming a circle]
A youthful dryad says, "Ah, devotees of Nature... How selfless you have been..."
A youthful dryad says, "In the aftermath of such destruction, such misery... You persist."
A youthful dryad says, "The true ideals of Nature live within you; a continuous stream of vigour that flows through your very veins."
A youthful dryad smiles softly.
A youthful dryad says, "Through your efforts I was summoned, through your continuous efforts I remain..."
With determined resolve, the dryad carefully steps into the bowl, her feet submerged beneath the dim glow of the mixture.
A youthful dryad says, "... and through your faith, shall you be blessed."
Blinding light surges from where the dryad stands, illuminating the surrounding forest with an eerie effulgence. Great arcs of amber streak from the luminous column and, with a seething eruption of power, encase the shimmering radiance in a solid, glistening shell.
IH:

Rich amber, flickering with deposits of blood-red and honeyed gold, curves into a large sphere. A gleaming light suspends within the heart of the translucent resin, obscured by the gem's swirling hues.
With an ear-splitting screech, a deep crack courses across the surface of a glistening sphere of amber.
p chunk:
Rich amber, flickering with deposits of blood-red and honeyed gold, curves into a large sphere. A gleaming light suspends within the heart of the translucent mineral, obscured by the gem's swirling hues. A deep crack streaks across the amber, delving into the core.
It weighs about 150 pounds.
The block of amber begins to thrum, the deep crack splintering across the surface and fracturing the sphere to the very core. The vibration strengthens, increasing in intensity until, as the sphere begins to quake, the mineral shatters. Thousands of glistening shards surge outward, dissipating into mere trails of glittering dust as they shudder through the air.
The great clouds of dust flicker and twitch, before twisting into writhing tendrils that move with an eerie sentience. Suddenly pluming, the amberous tendrils conjoin, petrifying into the perennial form of Gaia, Goddess of Nature.
[Cue mass kneel spam!]
look Gaia:
She is a radiant immortal, Her statuesque form infused with an august air of wild regality. Across a waxen complexion creep dense clusters of bark and slender veins of hushed, winding green, the alabaster flesh imbued with the evanescent kiss of morning dew. Molten with timeless divinity, eyes
of rich, golden amber penetrate an imperturbable visage, outlined by the twilit pollen of wood squill. Thick, autumnal tresses crown Her countenance and twist into a loose knot, the brassy curls tangled with fresh sprigs of flora. Suffused with the essence of Nature, a faint nimbus permeates Her manifestation.
She is wearing:
a verdurous gown of living moss,
a crown of thistles, and
a few sprigs of wildflower woven through Her hair
Yeah, looks like you have to suck to get Divine attention. I mean, look at what happened to Shallam...
Losing their light in the glorious sun,
Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling,
Only remembered for what we have done."
About to loose my druid powers
a few sprigs of wildflower woven through Her hair
Somehow read that as:
a few sprigs of cactus weed woven through Her hair
Honourable, knight eternal,
Darkly evil, cruel infernal.
Necromanctic to the core,Dance with death forever more.
Party right, party hard,
Sing and dance, perfect bard.
Prefarar loop, accentato whore,Buy a new rapier, get nerfed some more.
I'm looking forward to the various implications this may bring about! And of course, very happy for Eleusis to get some love.
That love soon might end You are unbreaking
And be known in its aching Though quaking
Shown in this shaking Though crazy
Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
Losing their light in the glorious sun,
Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling,
Only remembered for what we have done."
Edit: The fact Team Red got smashed but Team Blue was left alone sucks big time. The refugees are going to have to destroy some part of Nature to build thier new city. It would suck if the forestall community stands back and says, 'Well its ok if they do that, because we really need their help defending and they are all really nice guys, so screw the RP, being part of Team Blue makes life easier.' I'm hoping that the return of Gaia may herald a more hardcore stance which, in turn, will result in the destruction of Team Blue. Just to clarify my original statement, as I'm not sure why I just got a wtf...
Here in the Year of Our Lady 2013, I know only of Team Green.
Exterminations are different because we OOCly hate dealing with those. I won't elaborate, since this is a good thread and I'll not drag it into that wretched hive of scum and villainy.
Edit: Every City State IG has destroyed a part of Nature by simply existing, you shouldn't be friendly with any of them.
Eris next!
Yes cringe cringe! mwahaha.
Yep, still bitter.
