    I'm eating my Christmas Eve dinner (one of the latest timezones here) while listening to the Brandenburg concertos.  Peaceful night for me, unlike what I read in the ranting thread.

    Solstice is the big one for me, as I'm Pagan. Went to Glastonbury to celebrate it with my Druid friends. We held a public, inter-tradition (Druid and Buddhist) ceremony on a neolithic viewing platform built to observe the Tor from. Watching the Solstice sun rise over the Tor was beautiful. So moving. :)

    Today, though, I'm doing the traditional Christmas family thing. Nothing special. Presents and a big meal in the evening. :)


    I won a competition awhile ago to have Chris Bourassa paint a picture of Lodi. My profile pic is the end product. :)

    Merry Christmas! It's been uneventful really for the past two years or so for me due to money troubles (No presents), though my father did send me a check for $100 which I'm saving up to buy myself a brand new laptop, hopefully in the near future!

    And as for dinner, we're having what me and Mom refer to as "Hunk-a-meat", just a orast done up in a pot with carrots, onions, potatoes, celery etc, and some pumpkin pie...
