    I had insomnia for about...five days once.  Not even a wink of sleep, but I didn't have as many hallucinations as you'd expect.  Basically the walls around me would start melting whenever I sat down.  That was...an interesting week.

    Insomnia is a horrible, horrible thing.

     

    I work with, normally, 5 hours sleep a night.

    Slightly (more) sleep deprived, and my sense of humor warps oddly.

    Much more, and I started getting really lethargic. At which point I fall asleep where I sit. Which is a good cure for insomnia, but incredibly unplesant.

    Haha so that's why, thanks! Gives me a better idea than to just stick a random monkey in there...

    From horseback, the light knight bows to the lady he must kill, and skewers the dark Queen with his lance.
    Carmain snickers softly to himself.

    Boosteya pets a zombie gryphon ingratiatingly.
    Dreadlord Carmain Fol'ia, Messiah of the Damned says, "Yeeah."
    Alyssea shakes her head sadly from side to side.
    Boosteya Ze'Dekiah says to a zombie gryphon, "I miss you."

    I finally drew something new today and am in the process of inking it. Hopefully I'll have it posted by tonight.

    Since I am not only out of practice but my hands are shaking horribly due to my illness, the art is a bit crude, but I am doing my best to keep it legible!

    EDIT: Done! Just waiting for scanner access now.

    This, plus raves, makes me wish I were around late enough at night to see this sort of havoc wreaked. I'm going to be so glad when class lets out.
    My avatar is an image created by this very talented gentleman, of whose work I am extremely jealous. It was not originally a picture of Amunet, but it certainly looks a great deal like how I envision her!

    Leave it white, if you can, find a clear blender marker and brush that over a thin line of grey/yellow to imply the colour of bone (it'll smudge it out).

    If you're really cheap like I am for commissions, use the grey / yellow, then carefully brush Zippo fluid over it for the same effect :D

    Can't be an artist or create art without Suffering. Find me an artist who created their best works while content with the world around them, oblivious to the frivolity of a consumerist society and its first world problems, and are accepting of the fact their mind. Doesn't. Stop. Thinking...at all hours of the day (and are okay with it). This, is what it means to be an artist.
