Your doodles far surpass my greatest attempts, @Yae.
I bow down to your gorgeous talents and hope to one day again have a chance to bask in your glorious drawings upon my character/related persons.

I tried to draw Katsuragi as she'd be dressed on a typical day according to Tokugawa-period rules.
Really didn't like leaving her face so elongated, but I tried to somewhat stick to sumi-e style for this. Originally it was uncolored and unshaded but I grudgingly did both of those things because they're where I need the most practice. The area around her hands/wrist is kind of funky because of my silliness with layers kind of cornering me in a position where what you see is the best I could do without things starting to look really weird.
All I get from that is that @Bronislav's nose is so long it doesn't fit beneath his helm? Wut

Oooh. I see. I've a link somewhere to a guide for cutting off body parts. It's mostly for photography but I think it might work for drawing too, so you don't end up with weird looking limbs.

She's still here on my table, with all her other clones and pre-sketches - albeit sadly peeking out. I promise I haven't forgotten! I'm just not particularly happy or confident with her anatomy, at least not enough to call it completed. (Yours and Gawi's seem to be the ones that I'm having the most issues with, because cats are mysterious, unexplicable creatures people are harder than expected to cut out).
I gave her Bluef's description and a description of her clothing...that's it. She nailed Bluef down to her skull and staff, which she didn't even have the description of! Her wings...my goodness. HER WINGS!!!
Thank you SO much @Cirana. There just aren't words to express how much I love this!
Are you still taking commissions? Because I need one of these framed like, a week ago. And I have a tax refund coming in soon.

I'll echo Bluef here..... HER WINGS!!! How did you do the shimmery effect? I'm almost scared to ask whether the lines are drawn on or cut, because it would be insanely splendiferous if they were cut and they look like they are but I don't want to make an assumption because I don't know if that's actually possible but at the same time, I really really want to know.
Edit: I can't even english right now, this is so so pretty and she looks
amazingly poised and elegant but like she could easily rip you a new
one if you pissed her off.

Haha, oh dear. Now that I look again, that skirt length does makes it dangerously close to flashing.. (Bluef was originally made as an upper-body papercut, so didn't quite think about the dress slit position as much as I probably should have, whoops).
@Bluef: I'm glad you like it! I can definitely say that your wings were one of my absolute favourite things to do (overall, among the majority of my cuts to date). Also, while I'm far from a paper sorceress, it does sound very catchy
@Melodie: Not taking any more at the moment, sorry! I'm still trying to finish off the ones I've been sitting on since last year, so I'll have to complete those before I start on any others - which might be a little while yet but hopefully sooner rather than later.
@Trey: Fun fact - if you look closely at the first progress photo Bluef posted, I believe we can see one of your (decapitated) failed heads skulking around in the background.

(It's not the only thing I've been working on, I swear. )
Do not DM on forums unless you're ok with waiting a couple months!

Just a wip, but if I upload it I'll have motivation to finish it! Yarr!

Getting a little better every day!

Haven't had the pleasure/masochism to play through the Dark Souls series yet.
