Here is an old drawing of Siena when she was a nudist Mhun. She is similar looking now as a human but she has braids throughout her hair. I used Luis Royo as a reference for the pose and made it into my own drawing. Thoughts? (Also, that is a cloak. That's all she wore clothing wise besides boots.)

I should preface this by saying I am horribly bad at drawing and usually stick to abstract artsy things...

This is Reihaneh wearing her staff, ring, armbands, turquoise anklet, ivy spiral anklet, silver charm bracelets, Aalen toe ring, silver belt, and her usual uniform: sleeveless dresses and leggings (these are the lovely golden brown leggings with ivy embroidery made by Kaiya). I left off all the other jewelry and piercings and stuff because I'm not that talented. And it took me like two hours to manage this. *headdesk*

She's supposed to vaguely resemble Fire from the Graceling series (which I have not read) a la this picture:

@nellaundra Glad you like it. I know I suck at proportion. It is not an easy skill to obtain. I am usually very good at shading/eyes.

I posted it on the old forums before, but then I got angsty because I thought it was crap and had to rework it, so I deleto'ed. I'm still not really happy with it, I suck so bad @ drawing hands, and it's not really my best work. But anyway, here's Hyraeth as she was when she was still trying to be both Druid and Bard. If she thought THAT multitasking was bad, I dunno what she would have made of /my/ life

I draws'd me. I was all like this is going to be super awesome. And then I got bored and started scribbling. And then I scanned it. And then I was like WHAI ARE THE COLOURS TOO LIGHT!  and then I was like I CAN'T PHOTOSHOP NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

and her eyes suck. but whatever. here she is. she looks older now. compared to the last time I drew her. I was all like :O. the end.

Consider getting Gimp. http://www.gimp.org/

Easiest way to fix things like that (with Gimp) is to open the file, go to colors->color balance, and play with the shadows/midtones/highlights. To give it more/less color, up/drop cyan/magenta/yellow at the same rate. In this case, I dropped the shadows by 100 on all three colors, and the midtones by 50. Check or uncheck 'preserve luminosity' depending. Sometimes it's better with, sometimes without.
