Yar. Problem is, without colour, it's hard to convey texture; Anedhel's hair is very fine as it is, I wanted hers to look... hmm, how to put it. Spiky isn't the right word, but something close! Hair is hard

@Anedhel : While I have trouble with your medium (vector lines cause my brain to classify your drawings like graphs), I admit that you do an awesome job with them, and the last two pictures (@Shirszae and the kiss) were both extremely lively. Love your work

@Cirana is just like...amazing.

All I gave her was Jurixe's description, with no guidelines or specific item descriptions or anything, and she even acceded to some of my requests after seeing the first draft (hair, ribbon colour, expression etc). 

This is the final product and I love it to bits. I am pretty floored at the amount of detail that went into it and the painstaking time it must have taken (individual arrows ) I only wish for artistic talent like that! Thank you soooo much.

@Jurixe: Glad you like it! It was super duper fun and great practice for me, haha.

@Trey: Thank you, and I'd be happy to do other trades, if that's preferable to credit-throwing! (Would be open to literary works and IG descriptions, since I'm terrible at both and I've discovered that it seems to be uncommonly rare for people to trade in that).

That being said, any work will likely take a while, so only if you don't mind waiting a rather longish time (looooong, sorry). I still have one more cut to do for a certain incredibly patient rajamala (Sorry @Ruth!), and I have the ominous sinking feeling that uni assessments will start swamping me rather soon, unfortunately.

@Cirana: It has a wonderful mixture of simplicity and complexity. The shapes somehow look minimalistic and intricate at the same time, while maintaining a sense of organic geometry that's further bolstered by the various textures and doubly so by the little details all around the piece (there are too many to count, but the arm/face markings, the insignia on the cloak, the bow's texture, the cloth around her wrist, etc.)

I just wish the textures on the hair and black clothes were more visible - it's hard to see they're even there, but it does give the hair a neat silhouette effect.

are you happy now, @Daeir?! I critiqued, and I'm not even a word person, I traded in English to meet the language limits imposed by my intelligence score in order to learn Ruby or Lua or something, I forget which!

@Daeir: I've always been an avid fan of their gorgeous sumi-e-esque style - though I've never played the game, I have their official complete works artbook and it remains one of my favourites (would 150% recommend it to any and everyone, it is an absolute gem for the price and never fails to awe me).

Ah, so I am new to Achaea and loving it boatloads! I'm also really happy this thread exists because I have been sketching my character like crazy. All of my sketches were on lined paper or in my sketchbook though, so I did a super fast one on my tablet to post c: She's a Sireni Priest, and I just realized the shirt she was wearing in-game was "cut stylishly to reveal the navel." Hmm.

Hmmm. In regards to designs, I'm somewhat set on a bow customisation. I'll just drop the details below as a future reference, before I forget - as per the following:

A bow crafted from platinum, inlaid with thin sheets of gleaming pure gold and encrusted liberally with trillion-cut diamonds. Preferably enough to render it heavy enough so I can club my opponents to.....
