Fishing Timing

HunterHunter Posts: 3Member
Hello!

I was wondering what timings you have found most effective for teasing a line and jerking the fishing pole? :)

The HELP FISHING file recommends "a bit over 2 seconds" a nibble for teasing and a "bit under 2 seconds" before jerking the pole after a strike.

How much is a "bit"? What have you guys found to be the best? ^_^

    Practice :D

    Tharos, the Announcer of Delos shouts, "It's near the end of the egghunt and I still haven't figured out how to pronounce Clean-dat-hoo."

    I've found a bit over 2 seconds and a bit under 2 seconds to be the best.  By a bit I mean a smidge.

    Deucalion says, "Torinn is quite nice."

    I do 1.8 seconds and 2.1 seconds, but I have no statistical basis for that. I just picked numbers that seemed to line up with the scroll. It seems to work pretty well though.

    @Rispok "fishtimer-getNetworkLatency()"?

    My site will remain up, but will not be maintained. The repository will continue to have scripts added to it if I decide to play another game. Maybe I'll see you around in Starmourn!
