I never understood why crystal tattoos can't be made permanent. A permanent crystal tat would hardly be OP.

Back to raves though: I've recently talked with quite a lot of Mog-hunters and enemied them to the Guardians of Moghedu. You'd expect many of them to just go "lol what you gonna do 'bout it", but to my positive surprise, that hasn't happened a single time yet, but I got quite a lot of very interesting interactions out of it. Some were extremely curt, some got into extended ethical discussions, some were snarky, some actually took Iocun's words to heart, some were openly hostile, but all were perfectly valid and understandable responses.

So: a general rave to the playerbase in general for being much less powergamey and rp-hating than popular prejudice suggests.

My guess its more of an coding issue (with the crystal tattoo only usable once a day).

Lucky, sounds like a lot of fun. There is a high clan for sireni but never looked into seeing what they are about I want to reincarnate back to human too since I always thought them being born from the rape of Maya was always a neat way to make them than just typical humans

I'm getting a boar tattoo so that I can keep putrefaction up at all times and not waste health elixir. Then gag the line and the prompt and say "thank you for the extra resistance to cutting damage!" Then likely a shield.

Megalith is tempting. Mine always fade so fast, and often I miss it. When it doesn't even last one willpower regeneration session it's a bit lame. I wonder how the tattoo stacks up against the circlet.

Rather poorly.

As far as I know, megalith adds 6 wp every 10 seconds, while a circlet of will actually doubles (?) your regeneration rate.

Natural willpower regeneration is 12 willpower every 4 seconds with trans philosophy, or 6 willpower every 4 seconds at inept.

So, at inept philosophy, a megalith increases your willpower regeneration by 40%.

At trans philosophy, a megalith increases your willpower regeneration by 20%.

A circlet will (if I wasn't mistaken there) always increase your (natural) willpower regeneration by 100%, so transing philosophy and getting a circlet will still be a better credit investment than a permanent megalith tattoo, and will additionally save you a tattoo spot.

They've done it before for things that sold for a higher price and then got sold cheaper regardless of when it was sold. It was years ago I got mine hence 'it would be nice', not really expecting anything

(I do think it sucks for you guys. But them the breaks unfortunately.)

Would be cool if Vinci ( that his name ?) gave a free one of the things used for perma tattoos to all the people that bought them in the past, for supporting the permanent tattoo industry during an era of fiscal decline. (they'd still be out of pocket 200 credits)

I bought Atavian wings, upgraded my Logosian bracelets and ring like three RL days before the last artifact sale. I sucked it up for terrible timing and left it at that. I never understood why people expect a reimbersement for paying the cost of something at the time.

Major raves for the overhaul to customisation and artefacts. Requesting customised items in game is so easy and I found the entire process flawless. There's not even that long a wait time between submissions and approvals. Naturally I'm itching to customise all my stuffs. I absolutely love that I can list all my arties and see the original items listed as well as the current customs.

Definitely a rave for the new customisation system. Gave it a go with a sword I recently acquired. Much, much simpler than playing email tag.

over your skin, slowly dying down to small sparks before disappearing altogether.

Randomly decided to give trading my horn of plenty in another go. It didn't have a value from when I received it in an event, till... I don't know when. I thought maybe that was the way it was supposed to be. But it apparently does now. 166 credits, sweet!

ETA: Also a firefly has a tradein value of 20 credits? Tempting. I never use the bloody thing.

I just tested megalith, it is 6 willpower every 10 seconds. Circlet does double natural regen, but I'm not sure how it stacks with philosophy. I think in the past they stacked multiplicatively for a total of x4 regen, and now they don't so it's only x3, but I'm not sure. I'm also not 100% sure whether the circlet doubles the boosted regen while meditating, but it most likely does.

If circlet+philosophy is x3 regen, then the megalith is good for its cost. 100 credits for 0.6 wp/second or 300 credits for 1.5 wp/second (while not meditating). If not, circlet is 5 times as good as megalith for 3 times the cost. This assumes you get trans philosophy first of course, because you definitely should.

Went back through old forum posts, confirmed that trans philosophy plus circlet doesn't stack for x4 regen any more (or didn't 2 years ago, it may have changed again since then).

It would be 6 wp/4 sec, but yes, it seems that's basically how it works now.

Circlet is 2.5 times as much regen as megalith for 3 times the cost (and doesn't use a tattoo slot).
