This seems to be the thread for posting happy thing, so here goes!
Today, I moved Talaan to Mhaldor. No offense to Cyrene or the Mojushai, since (almost) everyone I met there was very nice and enjoyable, but the neutral type places just aren't my style. It was a hard choice between Targossas and Mhaldor, so I decided to be evil this time around. (I was an uber good guy on the mud I came from). So far: Mhaldor is pretty sweet. Really wishing I could be Maldaathi, though!
I have a couple of raves, the first being Mhaldor/Ebon Fist and the experiences therewithin. The second being that Iron Elite finally paid off and I saved up enough bound credits through it to get a lvl 1 band for my sword. Now I too can know what it's like to deliver two attacks while bashing to their one. Thank you, Tsol'aa rangers, for showing me the way.
Not the best, but pretty good. Like I said icly, I enjoy the hell out of a character's story more than anything sometimes. I'm curious to see how Caoi goes, really.
@Whoever is responsible for the custom descriptions of the current batch of artefact promo talismans. From what I've seen, preferences aside, they're all excellent.
Bydar, a garish-looking trader says, "I'm not a man, I'm an experience."
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
It's so nice to read over forum posts when they talk about 'Dragon level this, dragon level that, people who are below 99 and can't compete with Dragon' and thinking to myself about how much better than most dragons I personally have it. In fact, it's so strong that I sometimes forget I am not a dragon and am just a lowly sub 99 monk.
Family house status and scene in Mhaldor is bolstering! Certainly did not expect it to be taken up with much enthusiasm in the first place. Excited at how it'll evolve Mhaldor's cultural atmosphere.
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
Usually, I dislike people walking in on me having a conversation with a denizen, since dynamics and atmosphere seem to change almost immediately, but in this case I did not mind at all, because everything seemed to go together so well. It was quiet and understated, much like a real meeting on a bar after a long day's work, but no less enjoyable for that.
So, raves for the three involved, and as usual, sorry for being so slow with my responses
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
I need to give a long overdue rave to the leadership figures in Mhaldor, with special mention to @Xer, @Hasar, @Tirac, @Kaevan, @Carmain, and last but most importantly, @Ruth. I realised that I am unbelievably spoilt in Mhaldor by their immense support and open-mindedness to many of my whimsical ideas and projects that I start often just because I feel like 'this could be interesting', as well as their sheer patience when I am frustrated and need to vent.
The family culture revival is only the latest among the many, many, many avenues (Trial of the Five Spires, aide-aspirantship, Illumination Project, Iniquitous Gala) of roleplay that I have been able to explore with their help. Also to @Crixos, @Alcinae, and @Suladan for being great sports with the stuff I get you to do for these things. Without them, I would have been burnt out much faster a long, long time ago.
Having a good support group is so invaluable in giving you the freedom to be creative without having to worry about everything else. I remember a time when it felt like it was a handful of us against the world and we were so close to giving up. While it wouldn't have been a wrong choice, I'm glad we didn't in the end.
Special mention also to @Sartan for being very encouraging of any and all roleplay efforts in Mhaldor, always keeping an eye on the things we do and making us feel included, and generally being really great to work with.
I just realised this is my 1,000th post! Fitting that it is a positive one, I think!

@Alrena for being all like, 'u scrub naah.' and im all liek 'no fite me bish.' I die all the same, but still a fun person to talk to. @Mishgul for letting me test kill strats. I'm super thankful for people like him/you that are just kind of chill about the whole game in general. Total contrast to my die-hard attitude. @Xer for being a super cool mentor. Lots of advice and friendly chats when I am in a terrible mood. Yay Xer! >^.^< @Crixos sparring me, going with my stupid plans to invade, just being super chill and fun! @Melodie for that random chat we had. I wasn't drunk, I swear. D': @Jonesey for sparring me about 30 times (roughly?) and still accepts my spar requests even though I've never beat him. @Aegoth for House stuff, and combat advice. Yay internal RP! @Alcinae for being my guinea pig and a really cool friend. Means a lot to always have someone to talk to, regardless of the mood or time.
AND:
You offer to take on Arryne as your protege, and await her answer. You are now Arryne's mentor. Read HELP MENTORS to ensure you know what you are supposed to be doing for her.
Finally assembled my ring of flying! Look out world! Now have a flying monk. :) thanks to those who sold me the pieces. I am sure I irritated people with all my advertising...but I am very happy. Can escape now and going hunting up north easier.
If you weren't drunk, @Naah, I'm afraid to ask what you consider sanity.
Was pretty funny, though!
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
I'm really enjoying my time in Mhaldor. The Ebon Fist is great. It's a little on the quiet side, but the people are always ready to answer questions and help, in the most evil way, of course! Thanks, guys, for showing me a good time.
Mishgul wanted Jesus to fix my banner. Neither of us could get it right

Just keep roleplaying your Evil heart out, you'll be swept into a grand storyline before you know it!
I can't say it enough but the pace and energy in Hashan is really picking up and its so good to see people excited and on board with what's happening. Last night was exquisite. Well done, @Tyamat, @Hellen, @Shiana, @Shara, @Aoghinius, @Ayleth, and many more.
Someone suggested i get into navel activity so i am now trying my new role of navel assassin which has been exciting though i am unsure why she said i needed to get a marque.

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important
It gives you a good reason to feel someones tummy. That being said, I think Carmain already suceeded at being a naval assassins. How many navals did you pierce already?

Also, @Saeva, @Dragonknight, @Kross, @Ellodin, @Vrah, @Ruth for various reasons.
Rave: Seeing people behaving worse than me in that forum behaviour thread.
@admins for stirring the pot with a difficult event!

This should be a good one.
:O What did you break now! j/k
I should be more specific: This election should be a good one.
What did I break before?
It was a joke, you broke a vase. I never told you, but I saw it all happen.
STOP MENTIONING ME!

Rave for @Aelios and his amazing patience with me getting used to the new monk system I was given

Fun orientation with @Fahlrand, good to see another alchemist eager to dig deeper into our RP and not just sit in the lab all day making minerals.
Raves are due!

@Mishgul - umm, why would you want to assassinate someone's navel?
