The public post by Vastar recently was really, really cool. However, as is tradition with the public news forum the replies detracted from it.
I actually feel all the public posts from Vastar detract from him feeling like a god, maybe that's just personal opinion. I just don't see Sartan, Gaia or Aurora posting so much on their own stuff or squabbling with mortals like a mortal, it's all done through their order.
I think people might feel like this because it's a Divine that's actually shaking things up, instead of having minimal interaction outside Their sphere of influence. There wasn't any squabbling with mortals, there was 'This is how things are, no discussion.' and killing the idiot who said the God didn't know their realm as an example, not as a response.

Pretty much on the nose there. I like to think that He looked at the public posts about Freedom and came to that decision right then and there. I'm glad such a change came, even if it kind of destroys the concept of an independent Order. I'm kind of sad that won't ever become a reality, though.

Its an interesting twist, and I'll have to figure out how to deal with that. It may or may not end my time with them, but this is a good move for the Order, in terms of power and philosophy.

Don't know where Eurulis will personally go from here. We'll just have to see.
  • I read some past posts from Sartan addressing mortals. He basically said things like, "You maggoty simpleton. Leave the big boy thinking to Me... Oh, also, eff off and die." And I thought it was humorous!

I seem to remember one of the former Ourania's posting in Public before, I like when gods make everyone feel included. Plus he was yelling at everyone and not just his order or something. Yay Vastar!

yay, @Vastar called me important  :D

I may or may not be sleep deprived and get happy at everything and anything and find all the rest hilarious.

Hrm. Ha. I am not so sure how my character feels about the changes. Might be time for him to move on again.. but it is cool @Vastar‌ is interacting with the mortals

@Datrius and @Kyrra for putting up with my endless questions and helping my character understand Lord @Vastar‌ a bit better. You guys seriously have endless patience.

The estate auction is turning to be a lot more than I bargined for, and I'm having quite a blast with it. It's required a lot of research, trying (and failing more often than not) to make connections to various clues and parts of the world, along with some extremely entertaining interactions with a couple different denizens, including my ever-favourite art critic. There's also an endless amount of irony that I manage to (help) curse Eleusis (on accident) within four Achaean years of being a citizen.

Lore and history is some of my favourite parts of Achaea, so this has just been good fun. It's especially nice considering I've been a bit troubled about how things have gone ICly for Mel of late, so it's helping to lessen my agaitation at some things. Absolutely can't wait to see what happens.

Sorry Eleusis. I hope I'm not more trouble than you expected!
And I love too                                                                          Be still, my indelible friend
That love soon might end                                                         You are unbreaking
And be known in its aching                                                      Though quaking
Shown in this shaking                                                             Though crazy
Lately of my wasteland, baby                                                 That's just wasteland, baby
  • nope, far less

I'm rather impatient a lot of the time, so that's amusing. You're welcome though.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."

  • People I have had little to no ic interaction with sending me tells like I'm going to respond to them. Makes me lol. If I don't have anything to do with you in the game you're probably not going to get a response. Keep on though, it's funny.

  • Looks like you need to get raided again.

  • @Wessux I KNEW YOU WOULD DO IT. DON'T YOU REGRET THOSE FRENZY LEADS?

Let it be a cautionary tale to all Devotion users. It starts with a casual conversation with a few Occultists, or hunting with that old Hashani friend of yours, but next thing you know, you wake up in Eleusis, covered in weeds, getting pounded by some gorilla you just met.

    Fraternization. Not even once.
This destroyed me. I'm still laughing after like 10 minutes.
