@Hellen - for taking the time to show me how she likes to play Achaea. I'm kind of a non-stop basher that will intersperse working on writing and requirements for my House and the Order I am attempting to join and getting to see someone who just approaches things like this is a living breathing world and makes it seem like she is actually playing a character is great!
@Ourania - for giving my PC something to really explore and flesh out who he is.

Just a small tweak to the banners, you can now HIDEBANNERORGS / SHOWBANNERORGS to hide your city/house affiliation from being displayed on the banners and any external sites. Enjoy!

Awesome!
Can we have it hidden by default? I don't want to log in just to do it. T.T
You don't want to log in to a game you want to advertise for?
I'm not advertising for them. As much as I have played, the Bal'met thing killed the game for me. I am also thinking for people who don't even play any more that wouldn't want to log in to change just one setting and continue to not come back.

@Kinilan: Anybody can get anybody else's banner trivially once you have the base URL, so I can understand the desire to have things be opt-in rather than opt-out. Just because you don't necessarily play (much) any more doesn't mean you're fine with people being able to find out things they shouldn't necessarily know that easily.
I had stepped back from playing a bit for a couple days, but when I logged on today mostly to check news and put in a token appearance, two of the newbies I've been trying to help cornered me with 'We missed you!' and 'You're back!' and I ended up staying longer than I meant and don't feel nearly as frustrated/discouraged anymore. So big rave to the energy and candor of newbies even newer than me.
If I could have my aides CF'd every year, I would. Aides don't get enough credit for the huge role they play, and the ones who take their jobs seriously are just amazing.

Hug an aide today! (at least mentally)
But people also need to keep in mind that there are multiple people doing multiple things. You can be an aide to any number of ministries or even a house aide as well. The time you spend on novices is just one part of what you are supposed to do each day. Most cities and houses have extensive scrolls written to help the novices move along the path out of novicehood. It is also expected that the novice is going to work on these things themselves.

I need to throw out a rave to @Kross, @Klendathu, @Nemutaur , for all the help with combat strategy, advice, and just straight up help with coding. I appreciate you guys. And a rave to all of Ashura and Ashtan for helping me learn the game!
Well fought @Targossas. Finally became an interesting and epic battle. Now no more complaining about how OP things are. Each side got to be overpowered for a bit, and each side even got to lame a little too. All well and good. We good? Yeah, we good.
The banners are really cool. I was using a banner of my own on some various gaming forums, but it didn't have any code to update the char stats, so it was just a static .jpg
So regarding banners and REFLINk are the rewards actually being given now? I've personally walked three people through signing up that I know still play and I never got my reward @Tecton@Makarios ?

Isn't it like mentors where you just get credits when they make their first purchase?
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
Iron Realms is instituting a referral system to reward players who refer our games to friends and colleagues.
Let's start with the good stuff - REWARDS!: - If you refer a new player who registers and plays for 5 hours or more, you gain 1 credit (up to 10 credits per week). - If any player you have referred purchases credits on -ANY- IRE game, you get 10% of the purchased amount as a reward, forever!
How it works: - Type in REFLINK, which will show you your referral URL. Use this wherever you want: email it to friends, put it in a forum signature, on social networking sites, fan sites - anywhere!
They hide this well. I've gotten 3 people to make serious character investments (a few years ago, but still). I want my credits
