question on artefacts..

So, I've stumbled into a surplus of credits. I probably won't be getting anymore for some time (with the exception of the membership ones). My main focus is shooting for dragon really. I've got about 850 credits and was wondering if it would be more be more beneficial to invest in a SOA or like a lv1 longsword/lv1 strength arti. I'm a sword and board runewarden, just hit level 80. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Crit pendant will give you a noticeable boost in your hunting speed.

General of thumb: If you can use an SoA, it should be your first artifact always. Regardless of if your priority is hunting, or combat.

One more question related to artefacts. After crit pendant and soa what would everyone recommend in the way of artefacts for runewardens?

Are you Trans Avoidance? If not, do that, then re-assess what you can afford to purchase.

In that case, belt and/or bracelets for extra health (and a bit of extra mana from bracelets) is always a good choice. Sip ring is good too, but raw health is much better for bashing. Strength helps a bit, but doesn't affect Battlerage if I recall correctly.

Go str spec, and get lv1 belt/bracelets, yeah. Don't bother with lv1 sip ring (lv2/3 or don't get one, lv1 is not noticeable)

As mentioned...if you use a shield grab the SoA...it's wonderful!

You can't beat an SoA, and it's one of the few arties that's just as amazing for dragon, which OP said was a goal.
