I recently had the opportunity to visit the ruins of Shallam. It's incredible how quickly the sea life has taken over. Little is left that's recognizable.
Naturally, I traveled there via camel.
The fish have fed so well on the ruins of the great Jewel of the East that they are unafraid of my presence.
You can see here how much damage Sycaerunax's fire did to the city. This is a bit of city that's left above water I found. It's basically unrecognizable, so twisted is it by the fires of the Dragonfather.
I'm not certain, but I believe this was formerly the Zaphar promenade:
Here's me coming up from trying to find the ruins of the Citadel. Too deep for me to dive unfortunately. I think I saw them in the murky distance below, but I can't go below about 40-45 feet without tanks, and I didn't want to call too much attention to myself with scuba gear for fear of drawing unwanted Triton attention.
I did, however, find this. I'm unsure what it is, but it's clearly an artefact of some sort that's been twisted and perhaps transformed by the Dragonfather's flame?
Blood in the water!
Found these guys hovering around where I think the Medina had been.
All in all an enjoyable time, though a bit bittersweet.
Cosplay photo of myself. For those geeks and nongeeks out there, it is from a series called Macross Frontier.
@Siena The same Marcross that Battletech borrowed from, right? Though any cosplay from Battletech or Mechwarrior probably would not be so stylish.
It is. Macross has some neat cosplay though. The main concept of the anime is about how love, music, and giant robots save the world. So cosplaying as the singers make it a lot of fun.
You would be surprised. When I go to Sakura con, my Macross buddy and I don't get recognized very much at all. Only certain people would stop us and know what we are cosplaying from.
New eyeshadow; I love it. It's been a while since I posted a picture in which I didn't look annoyed. Instead, I look exhausted:
Edit: Also, re: @Mathonwy, I'd hit it. Beards = win. It's an undeniable law of nature.
My avatar is an image created by this very talented gentleman, of whose work I am extremely jealous. It was not originally a picture of Amunet, but it certainly looks a great deal like how I envision her!
Dude, I've got a Skype window open so I can put the display picture next to your picture.
The resemblance is uncanny.
Looks like I have to go ask my parents if I have a long lost sibling... Perhaps I can resolve the matter before the upcoming reunion dinner we have in Asia
I can never tell if Arlanda is actually smiling or he just has Joker genes. Dude's never not happy in every picture.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."

Are... aren't you supposed to be tending the Flame...?

It is actually a wig. I'm a brunette. I have a few wigs for various things. It's a love/hate relationship. Glad you like it.
