    Yeah well...I wasn't there, so not my problem! I'm above being a complete idiot when it comes to hanging out with friends. E6 try not to get in trouble, meh. I have to deal with the idiots that do.

    Yeah, when I got back from Afghanistan the first time, and was slated to go back out with my same unit, I got stuck on recruiting duty. Gotta love the Marine Corps. I fought it tooth and nail, but nothing I could do. Got 1 year left out here and hopefully can get right back into it and get back over there. I miss it.

    Trying to stick me in a B billet is why I left. What a coincidence, career planner told me the only openings for my MOS were two years (minimum) at the schoolhouse in 29 Palms, the active duty component at a reserve station in southern Georgia, or a lat move. How about no, no, and no.

    Yeah, I was stuck in the schoolhouse for my MOS for the first 5 years of my contract. Was an instructor for my MOS in 4, spent a year there before I re-enlisted with an incentive to go to a deployable unit. I got that, went to Afghanistan, then in month 6 of my deployment, they were like "Surprise, you were screened and selected for Recruiting Duty." Was stupid, but I got meritorious SSgt out of it, so I can't complain.

    Maybe you'll meet my old man out there. Not sure if the contractors mix it up with you guys at all but he's just recently stopped flying choppers for the DoD in Baghdad, now they're shipping him off somewhere to Afghanistan.
