Left the foreigners to themselves in the morning, went over to Marina Bay Sands afterwards to find them. They decided they wanted to view the Gardens by the Bay. Little did we know we spent the entire day there, going through the museum, skypark, food, and stuff.

I uploaded a bunch of Singaporecon photos to Facebook, but here are a few shots pre-Singapore that were just me, @Vrah and @Xer when they came to visit Malaysia.

Us in Chinatown. We all have big stupid grins on our faces because @Vrah discovered the Messiah's weakness... but I'm not telling you! You'll have to meet him and find out for yourself!

In front of the oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur. So much traffic!

The day of my birthday, when we took a road trip to Melaka! Far left is my non-Achaean friend, then @Grimstir, @Naix, a half-blocked @Vrah and @Xer. Enjoying duck noodles for breakfast! Yes that's perfectly normal over here.

You can't really see it in this picture, but this is known as the Red Square in Melaka, primarily because of all the blood of decapitated slaves red painted buildings. Obviously, Mhaldorians look very at home here.

At Genting Highlands, which is a theme park on top of a mountain!

The Spinner was my favourite ride, and I guess Vrah liked it too. @Xer just seems to be dozing off <_< 

Batu Caves, which is a series of limestone caves considered holy to the Hindus in Malaysia. Every year they do a pilgrimage of sorts here and carry large contraptions called 'kavadi' that pierce their skin with hooks to fulfill their vows. There are 271 steps to the cave.

We didn't get a picture of @Xer fighting off the ninja monkeys that tried to steal his water bottle, but you can have a picture of them anyway. Credit to @Vrah! I watched one squirt another with the bottle, it was hilarious.

Then it was off to Singapore!

While walking to the Merlion Park from our hotel in Clarke Quay, we went through this underpass that had cool wall art. This one was my favourite!

Obligatory merlion picture! There was a tinier statue before we saw this one, and Vrah was like, "Aw I thought it would be bigger..." then she took a few steps forward - "Ohhhhhhh" soooo hot that day. @Aepas, @Xer and @Vrah, in that order!

One, two, three! What they're all looking at is called Marina Bay Sands. The ship-looking part is actually an observation deck of sorts and has the largest elevated swimming pool in the world, if I'm not mistaken. We didn't get to see the pool part though.

At the top of Marina Bay Sands! You already know them all but anyway: @Vrah, @Xer, me, @Ruth, @Aepas, and @Arlanda. We were all melting.

We went to the River Safari, which is a fairly new attraction in Singapore next to the Singapore Zoo. I really liked it, it was very well-kept and interesting and

THEY HAD RED PANDAS!!1!111!! Whew okay. But yes. Red pandas.

We didn't get to feed any pets to the piranha at Stygian Crossroads, sadly. If I thought we could get away with throwing @Xer in...

We went bowling after. @Skye and @Xer watching @Vrah go for it! I bowled second highest score! mehehehe

@Arlanda taught us how to play bridge that night in the hotel. I always thought it was an old person's game but it was actually pretty fun!

Thus concluded Singaporecon! @Vrah, @Xer, and @Aepas went on to Thailand and are now in Cambodia, so I'm sure one of them will have lots of pictures to post up later. It definitely was a very fun experience and I'm certain it won't be the last (it better not be)! Looking forward to the next - because there's going to be a next, right?!
