    Though to be fair, cosplay, like any other activity like 'anime', 'work', 'video games', 'Dr Who', 'religion', 'food', 'Homestuck', or 'cats', has its share of nutjobs. These just tend to be more noticeable.

    well yeah, I just don't think that the people who dress up as characters with different body types or who don't fit certain people's standards of looking good in costume as those nutjobs.

    That's true. I do seem to recall some cosplayers who cosplay...just to find a boy/girlfriend. That's it.
