It's not incorrect grammatically. It's just indirect, overused, and makes your writing ambiguous. You might use the passive voice if the performer of the action is unknown, unimportant, or if you want to keep it a secret for dramatic effect. Some people think it sounds more polite or antiquarian. When you're doing formal writing though, clarity is one of your objectives, so being straightforward and using an active voice is ideal.

I've been a huge fan of Guns N Roses and AC/DC for years, but this is just a farce made even more comical buy the broken leg / throne situation. Roger Daltrey was right in his comments, this is nothing but bad karaoke. It's a shame to see two such major groups descend into such embarassment

Same here. I normally end up choosing grass starters, plus owls are awesome. Very curious about Litten's evolutions though.
