Pretty sure the only winner in that story is the woman who was lucky enough to a) find the variety of 4chan creeper who goes for stupid internet pranks rather than actually pestering her in person, and b) rid herself of a boyfriend stupid enough to fall for said internet pranks.

So an engineer, a physicist, and a statistician are all sleeping in a hotel room when suddenly an outlet catches fire. The engineer wakes up first and says to himself "this is an electrical fire, water won't work!" And runs to grab a fire extinguisher. The physicist wakes up next and thinks to himself "we have to cut the electricity off!" And runs to the power panel in the basement. The statistician wakes up and looks around, he then screams "we need more data!!" And he sets the curtains on fire.

Later that day, the physicist, engineer and statistician go on a hunting trip. They spot a deer so the physicist says "Let me go first". He does some complex ballistics calculations, grabs the gun, takes aim and misses 2 feet to the left. The engineer screamed "you neglected air resistance" then applies a 10% safety factor and took another shot. Missed 2 feet the right. Immediately the statistician jumped up and yelled "We got it!"
