This could be Bluef's I guess - I mean she does own the Tharosian Estates and sometimes has to play hardball to get back payment on stone/wood given on loan:

Prefer the Rhianna version because damn she looks wicked.
  • I couldn't really come up with a solid theme song for Jadys, but these two seem to fit the way life is for her right now.

So, I was talking to @Melodie about devastating songs and she gave me this one, and told me to blame @Saeva. Or something like that. Regardless, I have a hard time choosing songs for characters but this seems to fit Kasya for the moment, at least.

    Cathedrals by Jump Little Children.

In the shadows of tall buildings
    Of open arches endlessly kneeling
    Sonic landscapes echoing vistas
Someone is listening from a safe distance
The line moves slowly into a fading light
A final moment in the dead of night

In the cathedrals of New York and Rome
There is a feeling that you should just go home
And spend the lifetime finding out just where that is

  • I think as I develop Bayl, my mind goes to these two songs:

"I want to be evil. I want to spit tacks.
I want to be evil and cheat at jacks.
I want to be wicked, I want to tell lies.
I want to be mean, and throw mud pies."
-I Want to Be Evil, Eartha Kitt

No one knows my character, so this won't make much sense to most of you. But given her background, it's remarkably appropriate.

It'd be fun to play out a scenario in which she meets REDACTED
  • When your character is too tied to the city/order/guild....

(Blades of Valour): He just has that Synbios Swagger enough said.
(Blades of Valour): Draekar says: "Synbios if sunbeams sparkle off that I'll kill you where you stand."

    (Party) Halos says, "Disbar?"
(Party) Draekar says, "You know here we have disbar."
(Party) Draekar says, "And over there we have datbar."

pffft. make sure you have my 75k ready.

  • No doubt my favorite song irl.
The lyrics hit straight home for Lavakhi, too.
  • Probably the closest I've come to finding a song for Jhaeli, as it works in its way for her letting go of Cyrene and embracing her new life.

"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to? You will never find that [everlasting] life for which you are looking. When the gods created man they allotted to him death, but life they retained in their own keeping. As for you, Gilgamesh, fill your belly with good things; day and night, night and day, dance and be merry, feast and rejoice. Let your clothes be fresh, bathe yourself in water, cherish the little child that holds your hand, and make your wife happy in your embrace; for this too is the lot of man."

  • found my competition's theme song!  :)

  • Is it strange for me to say that
If I were to die today
There's not a thing that I would change
    I've lived well
Maybe I have made mistakes and been through my fair share of pain
But all in all, it's been okay, I've lived well
And the more that I see, the more that I know
I don't know anything, at all
Like the more that I breathe, and start to go slow
Of all the many things, I can only recall
All of the good things, good things
All of the good things, good things
Only the good, the good, the good
Only the good, the good, the good

  • @jadys, me hunting with a TF and as a runie.

Oh, LOVE these guys. Saw them open up for Elton John. One of the songs they did was a Nirvana song. So badass.
What doesn't kill you gives you exp.

  • oh I love their stuff so much. There's that.

An old song but I think it's fairly accurate for Kyrra. She tries to stay true to herself no matter what happens, and she's got wonderful people in her life to remind her of that as well.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."

Not so much Shirszae, but reminds me a lot of Maklak, the Ice Wizard.
