Could someone recommend a resource for teaching myself about scripts?
Hello,
I am very much new to Achaea, and to the entire genre of MUDs in general. I understand that scripts (I think people refer to them IC as 'reflexes') making one's life far easier, but am a little nervous to start banging away at it in case I bugger it up somehow. The client I'm using at the moment is called MUSHclient. I apologise if this question has been asked before, I'm just not sure where to start.

The ones highlighted as Mushclient are Mushclient scripts. None of these are mine, If you like them, I believe the people to pay on the back are Mosr, Dontarion and whoever is credited with the script on the last one.-

Honestly, you would probably be better off in the long run if you delete mush and just switch to mudlet (assuming this is an option). Because it is (probably) the most wide spread client, you are going to get the best support for it.5 -
I use tintin++ actually. Admittedly, I do know lua, but not much of how to use it in mushclient.5

Keneanung has a link to it a few posts up. That thread has some info on how to get started with it. It's a great template (thanks Akaya) with plenty of space/flexibility to add just about anything you can think of.5

The readme says there is a way to move it out the way, but I've been having no luck at all trying to figure it out... Generally, me messing with it makes MUSHclient go all CRASHclient on me, so for now I've stopped before I bugger up something important, and have begun praying to the machine spirits for forgiveness...
What I wanted to ask if anyone else uses this system, or was generally a clever enough person at wizard machines to be able to help me it out?
I would really appreciate it... I'm at a loss beyond offering it a Forsaken Child or perhaps lighting some insense... (PIC related)
