French being one of my country's official languages and learning it in school for 9 years, I'm supposed to be able to speak it, but sadly, I'm terrible at it. Mostly since I barely spoke a word in it since leaving school, nor continued reading French books etc. Sad, really.

That's the way I am with Japanese after about 7 years of language classes and having visited the country. I've found that you need to be practising it regularly or it slips really fast.

I'd love to be able to speak French and I did start lessons but never went far with it. Mostly because of just not devoting the time.

I was learning a bit last semester and time hasn't afforded me to continue self-study in my spare hours, but more language partners would be fun (though I'm barely on forums/non-existent IG). Can add on Steam/whatever, though.
