Underworld is something like 400 rooms with about three or four different exits. Without knowing where the hell you are in it, we can't help, but look for a root to touch. gl

If you can come gank me for no reason in open PK I can journal at full health to prevent it. Especially since there's no way for me to know how to leave UW now that I'm in it.

Actually, that's the purpose of open PK areas... you can be jumped at any time, for any reason. You even get that warning when you enter the zone!
I'm sorry you don't know how to exit, but I'd count that as an "IC consequence". One single death isn't... that big of a deal. Journaling to escape combat/consequences in general is actually against HELP HONOR, too, so I'd quit that if I were you.

You can RELAX STARBURST to turn it off without dying, fyi. And Santar pretty much lives in the open PK zones when he isn't joining in some raid or skirmish.
I couldn't remember the command in combat. Thanks. He's been camping me for almost an hour, that's dedication, except he asked admins to shrub me. But he deserves to be frustrated after killing my horse.
...it's a horse. Who gives a fuck about a horse? And if you're journaling to avoid being killed in an open PK zone, you deserve to be shrubbed.

Santar is more patient than you are. And HELP HONOR is some very heavy shit, that the admins enforce. So you can keep being a shit with the journal antics or just take your lumps and learn from them.
From HELP HONOR:
A word of explanation is in order for what we refer to as "QQing", which is quitting or going to the newsroom to avoid combat. This action is insane (or out-of-role) and even if you are being killed by a much larger adventurer for no reason, do not do this.
There is simply no acceptable excuse for it. You will gain a reputation as a poor adventurer in the eyes of your peers and, perhaps even more importantly, the Gods themselves. If you make a habit of this, you will even be punished, as it is highly detrimental to the game's atmosphere. It is basically using an insane/OOC method to escape an IC situation.
Of course, we do not expect you to stay logged on for long periods of time just to prove you are not QQing from a combat situation. If you must leave, and can evade attack or attempted attack for longer than 1 minute during a combat situation, QQing then would not be dishonourable. HOWEVER, if you take advantage of this to QQ constantly whenever you are attacked after evading for a minute, this would again be dishonourable. We understand you must leave, sometimes, but QQing repeatedly to escape combat is not honourable.

Okay, I'll bite:
First note: There's another room in the Underworld(sadly, I don't recall which room) that has the 'exit root'. That's the root you need to touch when you want to get out. May want to take a trip with a knowledgeable friend next time so you have an idea of how to get out.
Second note: Underworld is open PK. Anyone can attack anyone for any reason there. It's just one of those facts of life that most Achaeans have accepted: that hunting in there carries a PVP risk.
Third note: Not sure if you still know this, but journaling in the middle of PK is a shrubbable offense. In other words, it's a Bad Idea(tm).
If you advertise your position, you kinda deserve it. And right now, I can go down to the underworld and use fullsense and see you. A lot of people have abilities that let them see everyone in the area, hell you can too - just eat some dolomite and type WHO B and you can see everyone without a gem. Just die, embrace, and learn from it and don't get shrubbed by breaking the rules.
