    Shimi spent a lot of time "studying" at Centre Crossing this month. Mostly only taking time to talk to @Adaele, @Talion a bit.. and make back all the gold she owed to @Aziik. While she passively listened to conversation.. I died many a death trying to slog through the entirety of the Serpents section of the forums. I have a headache and am going to bed. Otherwise it was a good day.

    Decided to procrastinate on RL work a little today, so I did some Achaea work instead.

    Finished writing a Sect scroll for the Legates, cleaned up the first Sect scroll I wrote and roughed up a draft for progression guidelines. It feels like it's a load off my mind now. Woo!

    Last few days I've been sorting out a bunch of personal storylines and drama. Still plenty to get sorted out but at least perhaps things might calm down some now.

    Finished a long-overdue ship trade and sold the crown right away. Slowly watching my savings tick up as I ponder either making some goodies reset in the house or buying an artefact or two.

    Trying to sort things up for the upcoming Insidium masquerade, while also trying to get my creative brain working to write to finish a book to do the final advancement in the House. Unfortunately I'm having trouble with general inspiration to write. :disappointed: Which is exceptionally annoying since it's the last major roadblock. Very much ready to be a full member and start working with students.

    Working on naming a ship. This is much harder than it sounds like.

    Wasn't today.... but, yesterday. I took the SS Rock Lobster to Zanzibaar, and the Zaphar Isles for the first time. Also, planning a trip to the Illryean Isles some time in the future. (Would say when, but... pirates....)

    @Ruth gave me a history lesson today when I asked on the dlave channel. She was very thorough  in filling in the gaps of my knowledge.  I was both excited and nervous when she was the one who replied to my request. Excited cus homy crap a notable player is gonna teach mr and nervous becuase I was just sure I would make a fool of nyself as Mhaldorian history is something I had minimal knowledge in.

    I don't really mind. I deserved it for not paying enough attention (had something like 4+ affs on me before I even realised it was serious).

    Also: people apparently hire Marks on people for getting jumped in open-PK? The hell? You get jumped in Annwyn or UW and die, it's your own fault. There's even a big blinding sign when you enter that says "may be attacked for any reason or none at all" or whatever it is.

    Open PK =/= zero consequences.
    Can't issue, but as far as I know, hiring is within the rules (even if arguably poor form)

    You are actually semi-right, and I was wrong. The answer is in HELP PLANES:

    There exist a few locations in the multiverse so inherently dangerous that they have earned the designation of "Treacherous Plane." Simply being on one of these planes puts you at risk of being attacked by anyone, for any reason - or no reason at all. Once you leave the lawlessness of those planes, you may not seek retribution for what happened there. The following planes fall into this category:

    - The Underworld

    - Annwyn

    - Nishnatoba
