You'd start out with staggered jabs and songs (i.e. using both on their respective balances) so you have the affliction rate to get the afflictions you need stuck. You'd then need to wait for a point where the two naturally line up closely enough that you can 1. force apply before singing anorexia and 2. sing anorexia before they can eat their next herb (goldenseal to cure impatience or kelp to cure asthma).
