Since this has been cancelled, we're committing to a semi-official meet @Averi mentioned. Those of you from Michigan, Ohio, or other parts of the midwest (and those who are willing to travel there for some reason) can see what we're planning here!

As a relatively new player who has done SEVERAL player meets in the past and hosted a couple for another MUD I played - they can be fucking awesome.

That said - they should all be located in or near Texas.
