I remember Runewarden novitiate orientations including the lessons spent but beyond chivalry, weaponry, and some survival, I just don't recall. I would have thought runelore though.

As far as I can recall from my Paladin Guild days, my character had access to Chivalry and Devotion first(good thing too, because PILG SHALLAM xinfinity is best thing). Forging was only accessible when I got full class.

Riley

Sorley was in the Infernals guild, and he was required to learn decay during his youth, and later gained forging.

Riley was a Maldaathi before autoclass and still had to learn decay during novicehood, and gained forging after novicehood.
