Sacrifice 1,000 bulls. Then, join the Targossian Army.

Yep, truename's actually manageable if I didn't derp at curing aeon. No idea what's up with the anti-illu since that registered a health change on prompt.

I'm saying that it would have been helpful in that instance, but those instances probably aren't that prevalent. And I doubt it would happen.

You hope for that while I hope for less vague BM limb damage.
    this please

Yes, this, so I can add self limb tracking for bm as well. Having to diagnose that torso break really is slowing my momentum.

I always wondered. Is the maelstorm or bridge thingy (the bridge can kill people right? i remember two ways to die in Targ?) disabled in Ranked spars?

Catapult, and no they're not. At least, the last time I used the arena they weren't, maybe it was bugged and got fixed since then.

Backstory: Claimed a bounty on Valkyn, offered duel, she declined so I go to work. Died twice to Tydas/Ignika/Valkyn group, went back for another shot.

    Love being called a cunt.

Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.

If ever there was a legitimate call for the use of the word 'salty' then this is it right here.

ETA : People need to learn to live with the consequences of their actions.

    - 2016/06/23 07:26:22 - Atalkez has fallen victim to the extraordinary powers of Sensei Ignika
    Le'Dominae.

    - 2016/06/23 07:39:47 - Ignika falls in a blaze of silver to Minister Atalkez Al'Jafri, Exemplar of
    Truth's sword, Enduring Angels.

There's only one c**t in that exchange.
He is a coward who has to bring two friends as backup to jump people hunting.

  • You tried to kill Valkyn in Delos, and she managed to run off to Hashan. You then came into Hashan to kill her, and were beaten off a few times. When she left, you came back and decided to kill Ignika and I because you were unhappy that you didn't get your bounty kill, despite having no RP reason to do so. Upset that you went after a bounty target in her city, to where you're enemied, and got attacked by members of that city's army is not enough justification. After announce 4571, I'm 99% positive you're just a jackass.

After the really shitty day I've had, that death of mine was almost enough icing on the crap to do my first issue against someone for PK in the 15 years I've played IRE games. So, I'm going to bed and hopefully tomorrow will be better and I'll just end up hiring on you instead.
  • You'd lose that issue, so it's a good thing you're going to bed and just hiring tomorrow, for sure.

Attacking someone is RP reason enough for them to kick your ass. It's quite simple really.

Attacking someone who's enemied to your city, while they're in your city... Is not reason enough for them to attack you back..? I'm sorry, what?

If you beat him back once, it's not exactly illogical to think he'll be back again; that's how raids tend to start. Just because he's on his own is kinda irrelevant. It's obvious by his log you had every intention to attack him. He's definitely not in the wrong, in this instance.

PS. If you're going by that announce, then you issuing him would favour him, more than it would favour you. Swearing at people, especially in SAY (I'm aware it wasn't you who did) when they kill you, is also not gonna help.
  • Yeah, trying (and failing) to go to sleep, thinking about it, I'd almost never win that issue, and I wouldn't really have reason to hire.

You're still a jackass, though, for coming back strictly for Ignika and me.

Solo-raiding is a thing, after all.
    - (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place."
    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."
    - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

  • You both should've just lunge spammed him when he was bounding/leaping into totems. Probably would've killed him.

I know two bards that needs to learn how to envenom their rapiers.

  • Not everyone automates as much as Eleusis, Rango.

Looked like Ignika ran out of some venoms, he was jabbing 2 or 3 of them just fine.

I heard about this after the event. I essentially told them to all man up and deal with it

    (Party): Mezghar says, "Stop."
  • I jumped Valkyn when she was with her daughter or something. Daughter hits me so I go after her a bit. Didn't kill her. Valkyn dueled me so I wouldn't kill the kid and I didn't care too much.

Youre doing it wrong, @Atalkez. Threaten the fam yo

  • @Tydas

I didn't go back 'just for you and Ignika'. I noticed that I couldn't sense her, but with my handy dandy login-check, she was still logged in. Assumed phased or something.

Even still. I took my two beat downs without complaint or name calling. You and Ignika should try that. If you can't handle the repercussions of your actions, you should probably just not attack dudes regardless of where you are.

The sane part of me thinks,  "Wow, you think you have a right to kill someone because you invaded their home and they defended it. That's pretty wild."

But then part of me is like "Zealots of society have thought they had a right to do worse for less. Maybe Atalkez is Hitler. He invaded Poland, then felt he had a right to the world because of their resistance."

That's the problem with RP being a justification for conflict. One side's RP may just be,  "I'm a psychopath."

  • @Atalkez Normally I do, but like I said, it was the end of a really, really crappy day, both in-game and IRL. I'm pretty much over it now.

That is literally the only RP justification specifically legislated against.

    1. There must be a justifiable role-play reason for every attack and death.

This does not mean you can attack other players repeatedly just for being a
member of an opposing organisation. Neither can you justify your behaviour by
claiming something like "my character is a psycho killer!" A player must have
done something serious to you to warrant an attack, and they must be aware of
the conflict before you attack them.
