    No it's not. Knight can use the brief 'lock' for heavy health pressure. They just continue their momentum as they continue to stack focus afflictions and deal decent damage. 

    Serpent cannot do that.

    Lost putrefaction 2 rounds into the fight, let Jhui wail away on you unanswered for about 8 attacks (one of which he hit your rebounding) because you prioritized asthma over paralysis so now you can't even hinder him back at all as he kelp stacked you, never bothered to touch tree or use fitness etc.  Hell you even got lucky his runeblades never proc'ed, he never bothered to sketch ground runes or that that he could have switch to lolaxes and killed you a bit earlier.

    Also had a good laugh at trying to blackwind during a duel.

    I wasn't talking about the method of locking. That was fine, obviously it applies health pressure. I was talking about the fact that the lock shouldn't have happened.

    You aint seen spammy 'til you've played Rogue / Warrior in Midkemia. Or fought against one. Even with all the gagging/replacing that the system there does, it's still spammier than basically any class in Achaea is, lol.
