  • It's ok Exelethril. Necromancers insist that it's a very limited resource.

    You definitely can't afford to just chuck 9 of them willy nilly in a random Annwyn skirmish.

    Should prone/impale additionally in melee only, LoS just breaks shield or high damage.
  • Yeah, I like this trend.  Drastically modify other factional classes and just nerf necromancy. WOOOoOo

  • You'd rather keep spear as it is instead of having it do the same high damage, prone and impale in-room? It would still break shield or do high damage in LoS where applicable. That's strong! :(

  • Keep in mind that this is the year 650 games, and approximately 38083048019309019 have died in them so far, meaning tons of soulspears are around.

  • Also, not every spear is the same. The ones that should be* harder to get hit harder.  I'm just butthurt that every other factional class got an awesome revamp and here we are talking about nerfing necromancy.

  • For the record, I think soulspear is fine.

    It has a pretty long eq on a throw, if you get pinned you're likely to have writhed free before the Necromancer can use it again. Doesn't make it great for 1v1's (or good balancing in 1v2's as Santar demonstrated).
