Haha, Ruth back showing restraint and destroying five rooms in an empty city again. Always good to see.
Haha, Silas back complaining about doing something he does constantly aswell. Always good to see.

Ps. Kinda sad when you can predict before the raid that someone will be whining when it's over. Stop being a hypocrite.
Can say we've never raided a city with under 3 people. Last time we sanctioned with 9, Tirac, Xer, Carmain, Seftin, Cesarina, and about 9 others were there to defend.
In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by trying to start arguments and upset people.[1]. They may do this by posting deliberately inflammatory,[2]extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the intent of provoking readers into anemotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[4]
I can't really blame Mhaldor for not having raided us once with more than 4 defenders on. They would never get any rooms if they did.
However! Anyone who's been remotely paying attention to current events would know that Targossas hasn't really raided when no one's been around. Usually our peak time is during high-activity times for Mhaldor, so we don't get the opportunity to.
For instance, the last two sanctioned raids:
June 17th
Bloodthirsty screams echo from one end of the city to the other as Tesha declares a sanctioned raid.
(DISMOUNT) With preternatural grace, you dart to the side of Xer's mount. Grabbing his ankle from the stirrup, you execute a precise twist, sending him tumbling from the saddle.
...
A blood steed flaps in from the ether with a snort.
Aeden arrives, following Milenka.
Moving awkwardly, as though manipulated by invisible strings, a diminutive homunculus resembling Dragonknight scuttles in from the ether.
Dragonknight arrives, following Milenka.
Jovie arrives, following Milenka.
Moving awkwardly, as though manipulated by invisible strings, a diminutive homunculus resembling Domatus scuttles in from the ether.
Domatus arrives, following Milenka.
Nizaris arrives, following Milenka.
A noble hippogriff glides in from the ether.
Vadimuses arrives, following Milenka.
Harmonia arrives, following Milenka.
Cesarina arrives, following Milenka.
Mycen arrives, following Milenka.
Milenka appears from nowhere, a satisfied smirk on her face.

(Am in class right now, so can't find the exact snippet, but the group actually LoS-rushed us twice this raid too.)
As my periods of consciousness in life are arranged on a rotating shift, I begin to wonder how each side is presenting how empty (or not) the other side is. For instance, on the June 12th, our logs showed something slightly different:
2013/06/12 03:02:16 - The City of Targossas has declared a sanctioned raid against the City. 2013/06/12 03:06:37 - The forces of Targossas have destroyed The guillotine. 2013/06/12 03:11:26 - The forces of Targossas have destroyed The gallows. 2013/06/12 03:16:13 - The forces of Targossas have destroyed The burning stake. 2013/06/12 03:21:53 - The forces of Targossas have destroyed The iron maiden. 2013/06/12 03:26:36 - The forces of Targossas have destroyed Entrance to the red square. 2013/06/12 03:27:16 - The City of Targossas has withdrawn from the City, ending the sanctioned raid. 2013/06/12 03:38:17 - Tirac > Mhaldor was attacked while empty by Kerrilynn, Honorain, Carmell, Synbios, Kalvon, Garis, Davio, Sothantos, Achilles, Silas, Antidas, Echald, Zuko. Citizens were Shirszae, Khalaz, Vicious, Hayte. 2013/06/12 05:22:01 - Entrance to the red square has been repaired. 2013/06/12 05:35:07 - The iron maiden has been repaired. 2013/06/12 05:51:43 - The gallows has been repaired. 2013/06/12 05:58:20 - The guillotine has been repaired. 2013/06/12 06:06:22 - The burning stake has been repaired.
I don't know when the figures for each side were tallied, but that looks terrible to anyone who is reading it after the fact.
It is now the 3rd of Sarapin, 628 years after the fall of the Seleucarian Empire.
Achaean date 4 Sarapin, year 628 at midnight would be 6/13/2013 at 21:00
We destroyed Order commons on this day, but those logs show a different area.
... What.
edit: Wait, the month must have rolled over twice in a short span of time. In that case, the log I posted was the June 13th raid in GMT time (that's weird).
@Kaevan that one was Tirac not counting novices to highlight disparity, and Targ counting novices to try and minimize disparity. We had Alcaro and Cantrell on, and since it was a long (2+ hours) raid, obviously others popped in and out. (Yes, the sanctioned part was ~20 minutes, but when the next few hours were defending non-stop against people infiltrating and/or attacking us from the island, I count it as one raid) About halfway through the sanctioned raid (when I logged on) it was Synbios, Garis, Silas, Honorain, Echald, Carmell, Kerrilynn, Davio, Halos, Antidas, Kalvon, Achilles, Sothantos vs Alcaro, Cantrell, Tirac, Shirszae, Cesarina, Vicious, Hayte.
What the f-...Targ you really think...forum posturing is annoying.
The last time Ashtan jumped Targ in Mhaldor it was the exact situation you're describing. Please quit pretending that only the other side of the conflict is to blame in a serious tone.
Cascades of quicksilver light streak across the firmament as the celestial voice of Ourania intones, "Oh Jarrod..."
Hayte is correct about that date, though it's not the one I was referring to.
Re: @Jarrod: There is a significant difference between essentially every single raid Mhaldor has ever done being versus an empty city (Mhaldor can post logs if they believe this claim is incorrect), and the one or two low-number raids that Targossas has declared. Note that there are, in fact, 5 defenders in that last raid, which I would still consider unbalanced, but it's not really comparable to the consistent 1-man raids that Mhaldor's doing.

2013/06/14 13:18:47 - Sherazad has sanctioned a raid against The City of Targossas. 2013/05/11 13:03:48 - Jurixe has sanctioned a raid against The City of Targossas. 2013/06/03 12:28:19 - Sherazad has sanctioned a raid against The City of Targossas. 2013/06/08 11:41:20 - Carmain has sanctioned a raid against The City of Targossas. 2013/06/08 12:34:55 - Jurixe has sanctioned a raid against The City of Targossas. 2013/06/12 15:20:20 - Tirac has sanctioned a raid against The City of Targossas. 2013/06/13 12:01:20 - Ruth has sanctioned a raid against The City of Targossas.
A small excerpt from the city logs I save (so I can write the newspaper!). That said, there is a pattern.

You're to blame. F-ing Lupine.
Getting it customized to shoot arrows with little hearts for tips. At least we really don't have that many Lupines in our group!
