omg you seriously talk like that on pt? When Narcos was all like 'MOTHER -ER' when he won a difficult duel, then explained he meant that for party I thought he was kidding. I would cry if Targossians start acting like that on pt, at least until Aurora made everything beautiful again.

Would be 8 if you included yourself? And I guess Tesha says you guys had Hirst as well? Not to argue you weren't out numbered, just to say these are some of the closest odds I've seen in large group combat in quite some time.
Come on over, we'll priest shield you and deliver you out too! Well, they will im a blademaster so i'll accidently target you because I forgot you converted and voidfist you while your under focus fire. Assuming I get to come ._.

Yeah. 9v13 isn't really bad odds. Especially when they were pitting a lot. (Not saying they did in this fight - don't know which one this is, but they did at least a couple times in the course of these back and forths.)
That being said, they did kick our asses that time and a few others. And the odds weren't bad for us, either. It was really a back and forth. Was surprisingly fun! Though, I ended up like -10% in xp. Needz moar earringz.
This message brought to you on behalf of the refug.... oh wait :-/
And this one is brought by a troll that can't let it go.
Nah I'm just bitter. Hashan got lol'd whenever a single Ashtani aided our defense, even though they had organizational ties that gave reason to defend the city (see: start of the war) But we put a stop to that shit, ya know. Stopped it dead in its tracks. Then the big guy, who doesn't need anymore help whatsoever, started bringing along individuals with no organizational ties to raid/defend us in a war where we were already frustrated, falling apart, and getting our asses kicked.
I was told OOCly by some of your members that neither you nor Zinka were in the party, and they told you to buzz off but you wouldn't listen, which leads me to believe those were lies, because you're obviously still hanging around.
All I ever wanted was to provide a good and fair fight to the people that I was leading. I tried to keep OOC morale up, keep people excited about it, while still losing the battles. When I had exhausted all options to get this done on my end, I tried appealing to you and the forums for help (through rants, which wasn't the best avenue, but serious posts are so often dismissed here.) I just want playing a soldier in Hashan to be fun from an OOC perspective, like most facets of the game should be.

Now try dealing with this on a much larger scale, where you are being raided 2-3 times a day for hours at a time, and then stretch the time frame out to 3+ rl years and that's what Shallam went through. Our raids weren't nearly as bad. You guys got yelled at because you had the whole crowd from Ashtan defending Hashan. You put a stop to that relatively quickly, but still let anyone with house ties help, which was half of the crowd that you stopped in the first place. And you didn't really put a stop to that, those people just stopped logging in for the most part.
You guys shot yourselves in the feet over and over again. *shallam would attack your shrines or raid for a while and then call it off. Then 5-10 minutes later you guys would show up in New Hope after you just got crushed. Sometimes our people had left and a lot of the times a lot more people had shown up for you. That pisses people off - when they are trying to be nice and call a raid off and then you see that some of us left/you got more people and start the raid up again. Those people you piss off will remember that next time and beat you down harder so you don't do that.
My favourite was pitting when you had a bigger and better group anyway. On New Hope. Sure, no problem, if that's the way you want to play it. But it'd be silly to assume we're not going to play that game right back. Funnily enough, just before it happened, I'd been saying we'd been doing plenty of raiding lately and that we shouldn't start doing it on and off for hours on end. Well, that sure showed me!
You focus the might of divine will into Hirst to force him to obey your command.
Hirst is unable to resist the force of your faith.
Yes! The Pitter is neutered!
Hirst eats a hawthorn berry.
Hirst eats some irid moss.
Aktillum is startled to attention by the roaring of the chimera's lion head.
You take a long drag off your pipe.
Daeir crafts a mysterious vision, directing it towards Hirst.
The crone withers Sothantos's right arm into uselessness.
The chimera tries to ram you, but just pushes your levitating body around.
A flash of blazing light consumes Hirst's body.
Huh? Oh well, you can go now.
Klochild's aura of weapons rebounding disappears.
With an inhuman rending sound, as if existence were being torn asunder, a pit begins to open in the
ground below you. Pulsing impossibly, it seems not to be a splitting of the earth so much as a
splitting of reality. Finally it is done, and a gaping maw of midnight and sulphur lies before you.
Sothantos is drawn screaming into the Pit of Golgotha.
Silas is drawn screaming into the Pit of Golgotha.
Terra is drawn screaming into the Pit of Golgotha.
Achilles is drawn screaming into the Pit of Golgotha.
The pit quickly closes up and the air clears of its sulphurous stench.
Klochild and Fitz joining the Ashtan Pit team makes me sad Wish I had an amazing++ group combat mechanic to make use of too before it was finally fixed properly.
