Well the problem is I am (again) trying to get back into the game and want to start anew but every time I make a new character I know I have a fully tri-transed character with arties and full riding and everything else.. Coupled that with Achaea's rules that you can not help a alt what so ever. (Never did understand that rule..in fact just writing it makes me double think my even coming back to the game..) Anyways. Which would be more feasible to you guys start completly anew and try to get back into the game or start over with the old character and try with him?

Well, it depends. Was your character active back in the day? Was he well-known? If the answer is no, you can get many of the same benefits a new character would have, while still retaining all your previous investment. Even if he was well known, you just need creativity to go trough any hoops you may find.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
...But you'll always follow the voices beneath.
Ok, anyone who's ever talked to Horuce know's his orgins he doesn't hide them at all ie from the desert and I've come to a problem. I don't know which God to have him really worship, I was really wanting to get into Neroes order even spent alot of time talking to people in cyrene how ever I sent all the messages and tells I was supposed to (three weeks ago and never got anything back.)
So shrugged it off out of character and Horuce just thinking that a god of the sea wasn't good for a desert dweller anyways. My problem now lies in I'm not sure which direction to go because in my back story I had Horuce's tribe worshiped Kastalia, purpose being she was a goddess of fresh water. Desert people worshiping Water it fits. I now am looking over and trying to figure out what would be a idea one for a desert dweller to worship, any idea's thoughts?
- To love another person is to see the face of G/d
- Let me get my hat and my knife
- It's your apple, take a bite
- Don't dream it ... be it
I've got my eye on you. :>
That love soon might end You are unbreaking
And be known in its aching Though quaking
Shown in this shaking Though crazy
Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
My best advice is to simply make a new character and run with it. Roleplay helps quite a bit, perhaps try a different edge you never played before.
As someone who left behind a fully omni-trans character with a goldmine worth of artifacts in another IRE game, I feel your pain. But I like to think my retired character and I had good times, but now it is ended and it is time to start somewhere new. Yes, lots of time, energy, and money went into that character, but that exact train of thought is what kept me from moving on and as it turns out, I wasn't even enjoying the game or that character anymore. Everything on my bucket list had been crossed off, most of those items crossed off two, three, four times. From your post, it sounds like you're also stuck in this loop. But it is as easy as stepping out and walking away.
Credits aren't particularly hard to obtain here in Achaea, at a soft 6k per, so as long as you're dedicated and want to move forward, it is possible. Also, the playerbase seems pretty friendly, and with the current promotion going on you might find people willing to part with their giftable credits for new players.
Consider trying a new IRE game as well. You might find it refreshing.
I hope this has helped. Best of luck to you.
