Can we please add pillows to tailoring or the furniture showroom in Delos? It just seems odd we can't have them for couches, or that you can make blankets in tailoring or buy blankets and sheets in the furniture showroom. It's like the one really odd thing that's missing that has stuck out to me for a long time now.
You'd be surprised, purity finishes 'em a lot of the time.
I wouldn't object to an arc deathsight, too, though. Something about X's sword whipping through the air and cutting open Y's throat fatally would be pretty great.

I wouldn't be surprised. I miss 2 things about Paladin. The first is Purity. The second is Force.

Small thing but do you think it could be possible to get a message if a letter is awaiting us to login to be delivered? Though we have the IRE toolbar to tell us when we have a new message or newspost to read, there is no way to know if we have a letter waiting to be delivered. Would be great if we knew so and would login to see who is trying to get our attention.
Yep, that's what he means by them allowing custom emotes. It certainly does help, but draw/sheathe are just a small subset of what could be a host of other interesting interactions with weapons and wielding/unwielding them.
What kinds of things are you thinking of? Maybe we're getting beyond the realm of "simple ideas" though, might be worth putting a new thread up to discuss all of this.
For example, on my artie dirk, I have a wield and unwield reaction, looks like:
Penwize begins to wield a thin marble dirk in his left hand. With a deft manoeuvre, Penwize produces a thin marble dirk from his sleeve.
Penwize ceases wielding a thin marble dirk in his left hand. With a flick of his wrist, Penwize's dirk vanishes into his sleeve.
You can do a lot of this sort of thing, but the order of the messages makes the wield part really weird. If the order was different, the messages would make a lot more sense though.
I know they will probably not allow it for a few reasons, including wielding and unwielding reactions, but I wish we could emote wield like we can emote drawing and sheathing.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
Isnt it a bit odd that of the deepsea creatures you meet when diving...the Tuna are of the most powerful? >>
I just cant picture a Tuna having the same strength as a malevolent sea dragon, or even stronger than a sea spider.
Perhaps we could replace them with something like great-white shark? Or simply reduce their strength.
I'm not sure why it's surprising. If you gave tuna aggressive behavior, bluefin tuna can get up to just shy of 1500lb. Something that weighs almost eight times a regular person is bound to have some hurt to put out.
Yeah, speaking from experience, a 40-pound tuna (which, by the way, is bigger'n you'd ever want to haul over the side of the boat) can break a finger or two if it smacks you with its tail at the wrong angle

Its when you consider it in terms of Achaean bashing. Why are we taking more damage from tuna when compared to something like giant spiders or large rhino-like creatures (gours) or even dragons (geshya for example). Just seems rather unrealistic
I am not saying Tuna cant be aggressive by nature, nor that they cant hurt, I simply find it odd that they are on the top tier of most painful things you can find under the waves, especially when compared to other much more larger things the players have taken damage from.

It was addressed that the others have more dps, they just don't chase. However, just explain it like we do everything else in Achaea... it's not the real world, so the rules are different. A lot of stuff in Achaea doesn't necessarily make sense, but since Sarapis created it everything is as strong or as weak as he wants it to be. He could make a cute pint-sized puppy with god-like power and we'd just have to accept it, no matter how weird it might seem. Like the butterflies? Sometimes they randomly slay people after being attacked by them. You can also let them loose underwater and they still "fly" around.
Anyone else think DWHO should be changed to be short for DAUNTLESSWHO rather than DUELWHO? Been playing for months and didn't even know DUELWHO was a thing.
Firstly trades would be split into Big trades and Small trades. Big trades would remain in the current setup of 1 big trade able to be done at a time, while Small trades may be stacked together but will only last for 1 real-life day before fading (unlike big trades currently).
New possible small trades:
Fish:
- 30 hatchetfish to X harbour (example Shastaan)
- 10 duskfin and 15 redfin Tuna to X
- Catch a year record fish*
Reward would be a bit more gold than selling them + Crew experience
*Year record fish quest would receive bonus gold.
Delivery:
- Deliver cargo from X to Y
- Transport merchant from X to Y. Must be received alive! Ship sinking will kill
Reward of gold +crew experience + player experience(?)
New possible Big trades:
Slave-trade: (Now I know some of you may not like this concept, but it would fit into the RP of others and could be quite an interesting mechanic for places such as Mhaldor). Since slave-trade isnt exactly universally accepted i'll just mention the harbors that would take it.
Races:(this is based both on already seen slaves in Achaea as well as what we would likely see)
FROM Aalen (Blackmarket) (Tsol'aa from Aalen) (Goblin from village) (Vertani from Tir) Tenwat (wegava) (Razahr) Zanzibaar (Islanders) Tasur'ke Or Northreach (Manara Blackmarket) (Mingruks) Zaphar (blackmarket) (Islanders) Shala-khulia (Islanders) Ragebeach (Meropians) Sealion cove (Mhun from Moghedu) (Atavian from Genji)
TO Tasur'ke or Northreach (To Manara) (dont forget that there are smugglers in Tasur'ke) Mhaldor (quest for citizens) Ashtan (if they want to I suppose) Aalen (To Azdun) El'jazira (Sealion cove (?)) Tenwat (To wegava)
To get some races may require trading between others, just like current commodity trades work. Example, 2 Islanders for 1 atavian.
Possible Trades:
- Deliver 10 Tsol'aa to Wegava - Deliver 20 Mhun to Mhaldor - Deliver 10 Goblin to Azdun

A balanceless (or appropriately balanced) ARTEFACT RETURN command. For various reasons. But "artefact return <items>&juggle 1 2 3" would make me so happy.
Firstly, they kill any sort of expressiveness I am normally able to convey in lesserform. Secondly, newbies who have no idea about dragon tells get freaked out when you tell them shit 'frostily' or 'dripping with venom' etc because they think you're ticked off at them.
I often joke with dragons about the same thing; they always sound pissed. To play devil's advocate, it's kinda neat flavour that Dragons can't/don't express themselves in ways that other races pick up on. Call it a racial/cultural barrier. I don't know if anyone is intentionally more conscious of phrasing while in dragon, since we know that expressiveness can't be used, but it could be interesting to try.
Dragons should take up talking like the Elcor.
