I scripted an iconic shard weight tracker for Mudlet. Pretty simple but useful for knowing the shards you have and their approximate total weight. The weights are as accurate as can be given the detail that can be had from probing them.
To install: Simply download the .xml file
here and then import it using the Package Manager.
Usage: SHARDS will run the script and give you a detailed analysis of any iconic shards in your inventory, including a percentage of how much it will raise your Icon.
SI will strengthen your icon when you are in its presence and continue to do so as long as you have shards and do not interrupt it.
This is a small screenshot of what the analysis printout looks like. Not flashy but gets the job done.

Edit: Added a trigger to gag line for when you aren't wielding anything.

Losing their light in the glorious sun,
Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling,
Only remembered for what we have done."
And you can't yet strengthen an icon with fish.

You take a longnose darter and place it in contact with a powerful Icon. The two begin to warm as you maintain them in constant contact.
You feel a momentary burst of energy as the fish in your hand is finally absorbed, increasing the power of the House Icon.
Star Wars COULD be boring...but it isn't. Here's why I don't tell people that I'm talking with an NPC. Oh, and I never actually met Ethaya, but her comics are absolutely amazing!!
Speaking of rare minerals: Defuperine - That candy coating that you find on the skin of overzealous adventurers who put on so many layers of defenses upon awakening that you wonder how they're able to move afterward.
