Someone explain how to make it work on Ubuntu or at least confirm that it does work before I go through the effort of clicking a bunch of buttons.

a short guide to installing minecraft on Ubuntu, after that you simply have to install Forge and drag those mods in the mod folder, and presto, it works!

@Daslin Also delete the Sync and reliquiary mods from the mod folder.
@Jonathin I run MultiMC on both my Windows and Ubuntu systems. Its a super sweet program that lets you maintain multiple instances of minecraft, so you don't have to edit folders and config files everytime you want to play a different modpack.
MultiMC seems to work. I don't know how to install the mods though.
@Jonathin mods are installed same as usual, drag and drop into the Mods folder of the minecraft directory (may be a hidden folder) Forge I'm not sure about, I'll let @Jacen answer that one

Sorry @Jonathin, saw this and totally forgot to answer.
So you make a new instance of Minecraft, set the version to 1.6.4
When it generates the icon, select it, then on the right hand menu, select "Edit mods"
On the popup window, select Install Forge. Choose the top version. Now click on the Loader Mods tab. Click the View Folder button to open the mods folder, go up one level, and then copy/paste the mods + config + coremods folder from Kazu's download
Close the windows, run the instance, and you're good to go!
And...weapon completed!
That's full modifier slot unlocked damage (diamond + gold block, diamond block + enchanted golden apple, nether star for +mod slots).

Hmmm, did something recently change? Minecraft is crashing with as soon as I finish logging in, I was on fine earlier today, haven't touched anything with it since.
