[Nexus] Simple Groups and Triggers for the Newb, by a Newb.

Hello everyone, welcome to Achaea. Those of you who aren't new, please help welcome new people like me.

If you don't think I'm a noob, I quite literally misspelled the word 'new' in my last post, and the equilibrium queue, I've learned sense, is a Global Cooldown with the balance queue, affectionately known by Achaeans as the Eqbal Queue. But we're learning together. Welcome Back.

First, I would like to point out that Iron Realms own documentation doesn't always work on Achaea. I don't know if this is a bug, or a feature. In my journey to learn more idiosyncrasies about the Nexus system, I created no less than 13 infinite loops today directly copying from the Nexus wiki on the Iron Realm's site.

We continue onward.

Today, that's with really basic triggers. This is going to be the set up for SLIGHTLY more advanced triggers. I'm still learning on my end, and as aforementioned, we're learning together, here.

This is one that continues to make me giggle, as I scoop up all the gold constantly, even in groups. It makes the other people huff angrily.

Super, super simple trigger. One that uses that command stack delimiter we talked about before to pick up gold from slain enemies and stuff it into your pack! (After this, we're going to put together an anti-theft package, this is the first part of that package.)

You won't believe how simple this is.

This time, we're going to add a GROUP. Groups are vital to your triggers and aliases and blah-blah-blah because you need to keep this stuff in specific little parties and also you can disable whole groups later this way, which is neat.

This is my looting group, where I group loot.

As I said, we're going to make a very simple trigger to pick up gold dropped by enemies, and toss it into our pack for us!

That's so it'll go directly within the group. (Or you can literally click and drag.) Moving on!

 So, Trigger Text is different from Aliases, because Aliases are stuff YOU TYPE, whereas triggers come from the game. Text like: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/589230457292587018/606367037610262538/unknown.png

Can be trigger text.

• Begins with: Will only match a command that starts with your alias text in it.
• Exact match: Will only match an alias that exactly matches your alias text.
• Regular expression: This will match any 'regular expression' patterns. This is somewhat advanced, but good to learn. See the examples below.

I have used 'Contains' on mine, which is totally not in the nexus documentation. There is a lot to see in the following picture.

I took the message sent to me, "A golden sovereign spills from the corpse." Copied it, and pasted it into trigger text. So if that message is EVER sent to me in game, this reflex will trigger.

I named the trigger 'get gold'. Any time a new gold message has come to me from the game (only 6 different ones in 70 levels) I've added a new trigger to do this: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/589230457292587018/606369723789082634/unknown.png

Get Gold|Put Gold in Pack

(For Anti-Theft, you'll want to specify sovereigns, and not gold, but that's another time. This is JUST looting. For looting, it's fine. I promise.)*

So the moment one of those many messages crosses your screen EVEN IN THE MIDST OF COMBAT, GET GOLD, PUT GOLD IN PACK WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR EQBAL QUEUE.

(((Clearqueue all commands can be important for priority 10 cures, and emergency healing, but for regular bashing this should totes be fine, it hasn't been a problem for me.)))
