Tsol'aa race, have dragon as well.

Here are my questions!

1. Do I need to change race to something with better skills/STR/CON? Tsol'aa made sense when I was a sylvan, but less so here. STR spec > CON spec?
2. I've heard sword-and-board knights aren't as good as the other weapon specs. What do you recommend for group combat primarily? I like the idea of either two-handed or dual-wielding hammers.
3. Should I prioritize an artefact weapon over the SoA, even though I can use it in dragon for hunting back all the XP I lost to tsol'teth? Or use the SoA embrasure (sp?) on an eventual piece of cloth armor?
4. My traits are still for sylvan, I know I need to reset those. I'm guessing nimble + strength + lucky?
5. Should my credits go into transing runelore/weaponmastery before anything else?

  • 1. Yes, you want the most strength you can get as a Runewarden: IF you are sword and board, two handed, or sword and shield spec. Dual blunt can probably go CON > STR.
    2. Sword and board is strong, Runie especially so, as they can focus lock really well and have the strongest disembowel (and faster prep than other knights in this spec). Just ask @Mizik how much he likes it and how good he thinks it is. For group combat, dual cutting is the 'best' overall, but you should play the spec you like and make it work, not choose the most optimal.
    3. Whether you get SoA or armour paragon depends on which spec you choose. If SnB, shield. If not, paragon. I would get this over weapon artifacts as it tends to be one of the best artefacts in the game, both for PvP and for bashing.
    4. Nimble and strength in anything but DWB, likely, yes. Always, always nimble. Your third can depend on what your interests are.
    5. Absolutely. Skills before artefacts of any kind.

Other people with more specific experience in Runewarden, please correct me if I am wrong here.

Nope! Pretty much hit the nail on the head here, @Davok. Only suggestion I'd make would be to take Health Inspector over Lucky for trait replacement, as balanceless assess is just too good.

    Great, thanks for the feedback.

Would it be worth trading in the collar to get an SoA?
