    Or why would a newbie join combat rankings.  I don't think it's required.

    Obviously you're the novice, @Kuririn. In seriousness, I had no idea people could actually get sent to ugrach's tea party for these simple spars. I actually started doing them so the people I regularly duel would stop losing EXP! Not sure that an age limit is required because of retirees, and requiring a spar/duel threshold to join would just lead to the same kinda predicament. I also think it's a bit mean and unsupportive to tell younger players (even if you know you can beat them), hey, I'm not going to spar you since you're not on my level yet. 

    In any case, I think they do need to make the fact that you can die in rankedSpars a bit more noticeable when you sign up, and perhaps a message that says "Putting your name out there means there will be those who request to challenge you" or something. Just so they know they're going to be fighting people who are trying to get more spars for their combat rank. Not sure Duels to the Death need to be included though :(

    I'm pretty sure the death part is included in the help file. Anywho, actually I am a novice as far as combat, so...  Yeah I'm just confused as to who I wronged here...

    You are aware that no party has choice in who they get matched up with in combat spars, yes? Other than queueing up at the same time with someone and hoping.

    This is probably the most I've seen combat spars active, most good combatants dont sign up.

    Let's re purpose this thread into something worthwhile. CombatExperience Rankings (Newbies?!) When I started just a few months ago, I think that the experience rankings when into the 1600s or even the early 1700s. How have we let them dwindle so far?
