Nexus Latency Issues

On Nexus, and only Nexus, my ping will spike to ~4s. Input delay would be approx. 120s. Mudlet works fine, with (almost) no lag or input delay. Don't have too many reflexes set up, either, even though I don't know why that would cause latency issues.

Tell me what I need to tell you!

What operating system and browser are you using? Have you tried other browsers? Have you tried disabling plugins/addons in your main browser?

OS: Win10
Browser: Opera
Tried other browsers: Yes, Firefox (issue persisted)
Attempted disabling plugins/addons: Not yet.

Newer symptoms: Overheating CPU.

Issue resolved: Yes. Reboot didn't seem to be working, but suddenly it did.

Overheating CPU has returned, and with it goes performance of the client, though no latency issues so far. Just input delay from keyboard to input window.

CPU is an i7, 2.5GHz. Slower than what might be useful for gaming, but should be able to handle a MUD.

That's weird. Is your cpu cooling fan clean?
