This is purely out of curiosity, but does anyone know why retirement credits are only available to characters under 30 days old and not at some playtime cap? It seems a bit strange personally.
Probably so people didn't collate old character's values, onto their currently-played one when retirement was introduced. That'd be my guess, it used to be 2 weeks I think. Somewhere around there.
30 days is pretty long! Shouldn't take you that much time to decide if you wanna stick with that character instead.
Me either. I'd like to have the option to just retire old characters that I'll never play again period, even if there's no return on them, or even if it's just 1 credit. Hell, I'd love an option to just delete a character you've spent less than x amount of money on just to get it off my characters list.
Once upon a time I had a habit of buying the $5 credit package just so my name wouldn't get deleted. Now I have a buncha trash chars.

Please let them be deleted @Sarapis!
