New Halls of Salvation?

Not that I dislike Ms. Maya but are the halls going to be remade any time soon? Whenever I die and have to pray I find it awkward I still visit Her.


Also since forestral resurrections have had their potential minimized drastically to focus on the forestral community, any chance the Halls could be a tad faster now? We find ourselves using praying these days more than anything (well I do anyway).

I'm fine with long pray times. Having to wait is a better penalty to dying than having the steep XP loss we used to have. We're much better off now in that respect. There's also the combat relevance behind long praying times, which ensures people can't get back so easily after getting killed and help their allies again.

But I'm of course all for a new praying sequence. I'm sure they're working on one.

It's coming. But the character and immortality of Maya are not completely gone yet.

New Halls:

You find yourself floating in the void, drifting towards a flashing light in the distance.

As you near the source, your surroundings are flooded with light and you suddenly find yourself somewhere new...

Sitting before you is Sarapis upon a couch, beer in hand, watching a box of flashing light. You realize that the flashing light was emitting from this object. Noticing your presence, Sarapis flashes you a smile and tosses you a beer, gesturing to a spot on the couch which you delightfully go to join him.

Smiling towards you, Sarapis says "Rough day aye? Yeah, nothing like a cool beer to let loose after one of those". Stretching back, you attempt to enjoy yourself, but a longing sadness still fills you at your fate. "You miss it aye? I dont blame you, it is a pretty amazing experience..if you could, would you want to go back?", nodding enthusiastically you repeat your answer several times receiving a chuckle from Sarapis. "Alright then, be sure to buckle yourself in for this one!".

Looking around curiously, you wonder what could happen next. The box continues to flash with its lights, aggravating you at this annoying annoying contraption, suddenly you notice a familiar sight. Looking at the screen you see the fields of Achaea, places you have visited, people you recognize..and then right there, your home. The lights flash brighter still and begin to overtake the room, you quickly guzzle down your beer preparing yourself and give The Logos a big hug before the flashing light overtakes you completely. Hearing a chuckle, words resonate in your mind of "Enjoy! Next time bring some pretzels".

You suddenly find yourself amongst the living again.
