Regarding an actual place, I haven't picked any options out yet because of the number of uncommitted people at this point. I'll probably wait until after the 1st of the year to decide, unless that really messes with some of you.

I remember once having 8 car bombs during a single bachelor party. I remember -going- to the party but not actually what happened after. Totally not my fault though--the bartender thought I was a member of multiple parties at the bar and kept giving me free drinks. Who am I to turn down free drinks?

Have we decided how this is going to work?

Should we look at like VRBO/Homeaway places to rent if there are a few of us traveling? If there's a group it'll be much cheaper than hotels.

I'll be back in the south, so I'm down to show up.  Dallas is like 6 hours from me so I can just drive over.  I'll look into reserving a room somewhere next month.

I haven't heard from pretty much anyone on what activities you want to do. Depending on what everyone wants to do, the best area to stay in changes a good amount. Please reply with what you're comfortable with/want to do, or suggest other things if my original list didn't have what you want.

You're looking for locations that are west/northwest of downtown Dallas, but not too far west.
