Need help with a script that sets a party leader for triggers

For some reason this script just goes 'nothing can be seen by that name' when I input the alias. I'm trying to do this to someone I can target manually so they're in the room and should be getting registered.

Alias Text: L is (\w+)

Matching type: Regular expression > whole words only <

Alias name: Set ptleader

Send a command: @set ptleader @1

Does anyone know why this won't work?

Did you maybe check the "Match case" box, but try to send the alias with "l is ..." (lowercase L)?

That and an adjustment to spacing has it working. Thanks.
