House of Dragons

It's a continual joke in the Merchants that we should kick out all the non-dragons, and change our house focus. Recently this came up again, and we counted how many dragons we really did have on the active roster, it was about 1/3 of the house.

I am curious about the rest of your houses. On your HOUSE MEMBERS list, take everybody HR3 and above. What's your dragon ratio? At the time of writing this, we are at 15/57. I think a lot of newbies reawoke in the past week, because before we had been at something like 14/40.

I think we should take this and run with it. I suggested something similar on Gare some time ago. Dragons of Sapience, unite and stop everyone else from getting Dragon!

  • Hrm. Weird, it doesn't seem like any Dragons are in my House.

    @Aktillum I think the Dala'myrr already did.
See, you should be thankful rather than hating Bal'met so much. He grants your Logosmas wishes.

  • Well, they do have hoarding gold in common.

  • I think it may be more than chance that there are many dragons in a merchant house in the neutral city of Hashan. Players with dragon characters are achiever types who like hunting and working steadily towards certain goals without being distracted too much. While there are of course quite many PKers who are dragons too, most dragon-players shy away from that kind of activity, because it's interruptive and risky to XP, so a neutral city is a good spot for them. At the same time, dragons and "merchants" have in common that they're probably not just casual players who only come here to socialise a bit, but have an agenda of "growth" that they constantly are working on. Both bashing to dragon and being a successful merchant require the ability to do certain repetitive things over long periods of time without getting tempted to do lolcrazy stuff somewhere inbetween that might jeopardize it all.

I have still yet to hear anyone say their dragon ratio. I am really quite curious! @Eld said that the Lotus have like 5 or 6 dragons total, not sure how many active they have as a whole. Post your house ratio!
  • I don't have a House anymore, thanks to the Bal'met event :p
  • AchillesAchilles Los Angeles
I think we (Templars or what's left of it right now) have 10/105 though 2 are pretty much inactive.
    image
  • I think my house has 3 dragons including me though one is rarely seen. So active ones: 2
  • RuthRuth Singapore
The EF has. 5 active dragons, inclusive of me. Dormant dragons number up to: 5 as well.

  • @Babel - can you please rename this thread 'House of Flying Dragons'?
Tvistor: If that was a troll, it was masterful.
I take my hat off to you.

    Serpentlords have 6 I believe.

We have one inactive Dragon, Iaurodur.
  • Just 3 Maldaathi I believe. That puts us at half dragons...... :P

  • LiancaLianca Fire and Spice
Occultists have lots of dragons, am too lazy to count but can think of seven off the top of my head.
The sweltering heat of the forge spills out across the land as the rumbling voice of Phaestus booms, "I want you to know, the Garden reaction to that one is: What?"
The voice of Melantha, Goddess of the Seasons, echoes amid the rustle of leaves, "That's the censored version."
  • ^^^ Occultists have 18 dragons, 12 active.
  • AchillesAchilles Los Angeles
How are we defining active, as long as they are ranked?
    image
  • yeah, obviously not that many seriously active

Augh, I wish I hadn't cancelled my Iron Elite. Must start it up again, and get back into the trek to dragon...

  • Not many awake Naga dragons... not many awake Naga... I get to roll around in a giant pile of gold though, so that's a good thing right?

    ?

  • Every time I see that now, I think of the Family Guy cutaway where Peter tries to dive into a pile of gold and just breaks all of his bones. "Gold coins are not a liquid!" I don't even like Family Guy that much. :(
  • if Scrooge McDuck where a giant red dragon, then yes, that's what it's like
  • I think only 2 dragons in the Sentaari, @Anaidiana and @Hideyoshi (Not sure if you can even tag ppl here lol) but you get the point
  • Akemi is as well.

  • I wonder what happens now at level 99. A new age of x? No more dragons?

The latest news I have is, "Wait 2-3 days."
  • In 2-3 days they are going to say the new level 99 power is time travel, as you're now two days into the future.
