Can't get SETALIAS to work on anyone I have targeting

For example I use SETALIAS ts temper @tar sanguine, and it sets the alias target specifically to whoever I have targeting but keeps it only for them. So that alias can ONLY be used on the player I had targeted when I wrote it. How do I make it so it works on whoever I have targeted?

Use &tar not @tar I believe

Yeah, if you're using SETALIAS you'll want to use &tar to refer to the target last set using SETTARGET. I assume @tar is a Nexus variable which gets expanded to be its current value when you try to set the alias.
